The skipping may have nothing to do with anydvd's ability to correctly decrypt the video files. Skipping during playback can be caused by several factors, here are some things to consider:

1)Media quality.
2)Write/burn speed.
3)Firmware used/outdated firmware.
4)DVD player and media compatibility.
5)The software package used to burn the files to disk (especially DL disks).
6)If the skipping is observed twards the end of the movie, you may be burning too fast too close to the disks outer edge.

So, always make sure anydvd is current, and:

1)Use media that's considered to be of good quality.
2)Try burning at 4X speed or 1/2 the rated speed of the media.
3)Make sure you're using the latest firmware for your burner.
4)Make sure your player can play the type of media you're choosing to use (+R/-R) or get a mulit-format player. You can also try booktyping +R media http://www.k-probe.com/bitsetting-booktype-faq.php
5)I don't recommend using Nero if burning to DL media, use Imgburn instead http://www.imgburn.com/
6)You might want to consider reducing the file size produced by shrink so as to stay away from the disks outer edge where funny things can happen. (<= 4300MB).

Cheers.

More often than not, this is a case of inferior media or bad burn. Customarily, we burn at 1/2 the maximum recordable rate of our medium. Mingle that with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, and you should be able to see
improved results.
