dakewlndn, sounds like an optical drive problem. can you try/use a different drive?

So did DVDFab 5.0.4.5.
RipIt4Me had a little difficulty but I got it.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Here's the info on Vantage Point. It is definitely loaded:
And, of course, latest AnyDVD did its job (full disc obviously):
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Did DvdFab have any issues with it?
I picked it up but haven't had a chance to back it up yet.

It scanned for about 1 minute. After that it was fine.
Someone on another forum said there were problems doing movie only. I'm gonna try the WS version now.
Edit:
Doing the WS version only had no problems.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Vantage Point was very easy for dvdfab platinum. Same for Drillbit Taylor. Both were pieces of cake.

what did you have to do to get it working with ripit4me? Mine is stuck at 94% but has just been stuck there for about a half an hour or so now just inserting dummy sectors.

Finally got around to doing this one:
DvdFab Platinum...5.0.4.5 backed it up pretty easy. I removed all (and there's a few of 'em) alternate languages.

I did a quick search and haven't found a thread for this title yet. If you're having problems with it, start a thread outlining your problems in detail.

A pop-up says that the disc may be dirty or scratched and it asks if you want to try and rip again. Answer no and continue.
Now mine is the 2 disc set which has the FS and WS versions.
When opened in DVD Shrink it saw 4 versions of each. Only title 1 and 6 are the correct ones.
Using PgcEdit I killed playback on all the others. Then processed with FixVTS and it was fine.
These steps are not necessary when using DVDFab.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Thanks! ripit4me ran for a while and then just crashed. Just downloaded DVDFAB and it worked like a charm. Too bad its only a 30 day trial version. Until now my free combo of DVD Shrink or ripit4me w/ DVDDecrypter has worked on everything.

I tried the latest CloneDVD with the latest AnyDVD and it crashes at 94% or so (full and movie only).
I tried AnyDVD ripper and it crashes at 60 something percent
I tried movie only with DVDFab 5.0.4.5 and it seemed to work but I tested the movie and towards the end it crashes, there is a gap of a few minutes that gives me green blocks and stops; after a slide forward the movie goes back to normal. IS this the case as well for those of you who reported success with DVDFab?
DVD is brand new and using a PIONEER DVD-RWDVR-212D 1.21 Region 1
Any suggestions? thanks!

Mine came out just fine with dvdfab platinum. Then again, I customize mine to only take out foreign languages and foreign subtitles.

There was quite the little handful of those for this film. I also removed them.

How long did it take you for RipIt4me to finish? Mine has been stuck in 94% total (current progress 13%) for over 2 hrs now.
