Please help! After I did this step
"15.Now Click on start and wait.for about 5-15secs it depends on your memorystick speed,now u will be in 3.02. Press "HOME" button to take off the devhook menu.and do the firmware settings then go check your check you "system information" in system settings". "
Pressing the home button does nothing. It starts devhook and goes into the desktop of the psp. Does not say 3.02 in settings, still says 2.71? Home to take off devhook menu? I;m am in the psp game menu, the devhook menu dissapears after you start devhook right? Then it says to do the system settings. Didnt I just do that the step before? I am very confused. I followed step by step. I dont know what I am doing wrong??

I re-did the steps and the same thing. After start devhook (it seems to boot ok back into the psp)it says to press the home button (at the game menu that devhook goes back to?). This does nothing. Please help. I have to get this working before I give it to my son for xmas tomorrow. As soon as he puts in his smackdown vs raw it will upgrade the firmware and than I;m screwed! HEEEELP!!!

hopefully you copied the right files to the right folder...reboot ur psp(hard boot) then run hend...after the reboot to hend run devhook 0.51 for 2.71. then check your settings...make sure that the firmware you select is 3.02. then start devhook...you should be in 3.02 fw...if you get a blue screen with lots of different languages in it...its the system recovery...don't panic just press the "O" button and do your settings...date, time, language...etc...you'll be in emulated 3.02...good luck!

Thanks die_no. I did just as you said. It still says the 2.71 dev fw in the settings. I picked the 3.02 fw and than started devhook(after running hend), it drops me back to the psp game meunu. What is the home key supposed to do at this point? And why does it say to do the settings again before checking the fw version to make sure 3.02 is loaded? I did the ez install and it looks like all the files are in the right spot. I still dont understand what the home button is supposed to do? Maybe ill just format the stick and try again from scratch. Everything seemd to go perfect in the ez install untill step 15. I start devhook after doing the 3.02 settings
Eleven - The same thing happend to me. When I tried to put the 1.50 dump back in it blew up the whole thing. Thats why I went and did the ez install this time and now this problem I have. Was the 2.71 supposed to run all the homebrew stuff? Is that why the 1.50 was no longer an option to pick? I am confused on this as well as you!!!!

Hi can somebody help me please
i'm with FW 2.71 TA-082 and i reach to
1.switch on your psp then boot [b]HEND in photo then the psp will autoboot itself,if it does not autoboot and freezes then redo it again.it is normal
and nothing happen

hey, i did everything manually uptil the step " putting back the old devhook " which i didnt really understand.. other than that devhook 0.51 works fine for me. i just wanna know how i can get both 0.4X and 0.51 together

hey im a noob i've searched everything and i read through the guide which was really well put together but i still have no clue about anything...
i have a TA-082 and its running 2.71 and i currently have HEND and Devhook 0.46 can i run isos from here??? and if i can do i need to have a umd in the psp in order for it to work???

reezbauer - yes if you drop you iso or cso in the iso folder just run hen d and devhook make sure you have a umd to put in your drive and you are away.
asasin - yes you can play without connecting to a usb as long as you have a memory card big enough to drop your iso in.
kealvalro - i need your help badly, i have had not internet for the last few week and missed the last update. i have tried your guide but had to download DEVHOOK 0.51.0100 + Multi language from another site but seems to have a couple of files missing. i have since downloaded the easy installer (Guide for Easy Install Devhook "K" easy installer )and got stuck at stage 15. when i press start my PSP switches off. i have managed to get it to boot to 3.2 a couple of times after playing about with the files but it is so unstable to use i have had to take it off again. can you clarify stage 15 again as there seem to be others out there that are getting stuck at this point

can someone pls answer this ><... been at it for about 8 hours still no luck =[
ok i think i managed to find where to place all the files of my downloaded game... but heres the problem... i run dev 0.51 beta for 2.71... this is afta i ran HEN-D... i then adjusted everything that my game required...
* UMD Select: We must select it .iso/.cso that we want to load.
* UMD Mount: We leave it in " ISO AnyUMD ".
* UMD Version: 2. The XXth-> 2.00
* Firmware: 2.71
* CPU Clock: Speed of the CPU (266Mhz).
* BOOT Select: Reboot XMB.
i then pressed start which rebooted my psp... then i used DEVHOOK 0.51 launcher BETA... it got past that green white wateva stage... then it crashed and i gotta turn it bck on and im bck to where i am in the beggining version 2.71 normal... what have i done wrong ><
Just to confirm did i place the files in the right location... the game came with three folders... dh, ISO and PSP... i left dh as it was cus i think they're all the same? not sure.... inside ISO i copied the ISO file onto ISO folder on the memory stick... then for psp i went into psp > game and coppied what was in there ova to the same directory for the mem stick... thats what i did but it still doesn't seem to be working ><

Pirlo- haha im sorry but i am still stuck on the old version 'devhook chunglam's easy installer V2+hend' which is straight forward. you can get this from a lot of bit torrent sites. just format the memory stick and copy the contents of the zip file to your psp, run HEND in photo's until the blue screen appears and reboots, then load up devhook. As for the new version i cant advise on this as i cant get it to run smoothly at the moment as i dont think i have the same copy that Kealvaro is using due to the site that he has liked to being down.'devhook chunglam's easy installer V2+hend' works great for most games but the most recent ones need a higher firmware

hello my friends, I am trying to emulate f/w v.3.02... I followed this guide before to emulate 3.01 before the guide was edited... i have a 2.71fw PSP with a TA-82.
I am stuck right now because the link to the file:
4. DEVHOOK 0.51.0100 + Multi language(http://www.rogepost.com/n/ 4508700967) is currently down. If anyone has already downloaded 4. This works really well on emulating 3.02, but when you press start after setting up the settings it says on a blue and silver screen that your psp is not working properly and press o to restore defaults. Is that supposed to happen? I thought I bricked my psp for a second but then 3.02 emulated and it works great!

hey i just bought a 2.71 as well and im stuck i doont know hwo to do this devhook shit all this emulator or anything.when i got o devhook thats instaled in my psp it says that something is corrupted and that the games files cannot play. and i cant take all that shit off now.
please HELP
