I been deep frying my hot dogs lately just for something different normally I broil them.
Tried cutting up smoke sausage and baking it on a wire rake rather than frying it..with potatoes and onions. Turned out pretty good...I wonder how smoked sausage deep fries....

What are peoples fav hotdog brand?
I've not happy with any charlies is cheap,Ballpark is meh,Oscar Myer is so so,Hebrew National is so so, Bryns is meh, eckerds is crap like their smoked sausage.... I miss khans.....

Ah thier ok but I crave a good hotdog and there are just non anymore.... and I prefer their Italian sausage more...

Nathan's is pretty good as well as Hebrew National. ;) The ALL beef dogs are the way to go!!!! :P
Johnsonville is great but expensive. ;) Wally-World brand (great value) is the same dang thing for about $1.00-$1.50 less. :D
Someone makes an all beef dog that is the JUMBO kind but I can't remember who it is...
ENDO... to the rescue. :) <<<<< he's a WEINER expert. :D

Hell most brands sub the work out to the same plant and have virtually the same level of qaulity of crap though some brands force higher qaulity standards... same for electronics and what not...

Right now I don't see it as a DEBATE. lol. An exercise in the exploration of the "perfect" hot dog weiner is taking place and I believe it requires full attention to detail as well as suggestions from other weinie consuming members. :)
