Hi, what programs are you using to back up this movie ? As many of the regulars would say, "please give us as much information as possible, so that we may be of assistance"
Merry Christmas :)

Hi,
Dvd fab 5.2.2.0 should do it. If not, have you tried the latest Anydvd ?

Or it could always be the dreaded bad manufactured disc phenomenon. If so, then you may need to return the disc to the store you purchased it from and get an exchange :(

If you use Anydvd, try to use the Anydvd ripper and set the devices to slow and quiet. This usually works for me (actually for endo). This method works quite well.

Hi again,
this movie comes out on dvd and blue ray on Jan 6,2009 in North America.
The encryption may be too much for both the latest Anydvd and Dvd Fab until a update occurs.

Copy the IFO and send to DVDFab HD Decrypter (DVDFab Platinum) or Fengtao and I'm sure 100% he'll have it solve by the time it comes out here in the US.

I haven't seen this movie yet "Bangkok Dangerous", a remake version starring Nicholas Cage, but I've seen the original Bangkok Dangerous (Thailand version) and it is beautifully awesome with tons of gun actions.

I had success ripping the disc with dvdghost (it took 14 hours +), I then re-authored to movie only with dvdshrink, the movie was around 4.7gb it took very little compression. The movie transferred, burnt & played beautifully, but some of the extras (which I did not burn) did not play and were not accessible. My guess is a dvdfab upgrade will resolve those issues. The movie itself was an action spectacle, a nice showpiece for a good home theater.

I can also vouch that DVDFab and Anydvd will not back up this movie correctly. I guess I will wait for an update.

I'm sure if there's an issue with it, Fengtao and company will get it handled quickly. I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

I found a solution to Bangkok Dangerous if you have the latest AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 to make a full back up,you might be able to use this method with other programs but I'm not sure. In CloneDVD2 I had to deselect titles 20,23,24 and 25. Title 1 is the movie. So you all could try that.
