sorry

too long to translate, i'm tired :) nothing important anyway... can't wait to play GT4!!!!

I've had a pre-order in for GT4 for months now. If Sony can get a Chinese version out the door at the same time as the Japanese, there is no "localization" excuse as far as I'm concerned... Bastard Sony... GRRR!

Anyway, I still plan on keeping my pre-order. I just want to see this game in action on my own TV and am quite happy to tinker with the Japanese version until March 15th when, according to Amazon, it ships.

Wish someone could figure out to rip this down to a single layer:( Though it sounds like it's got some pretty serious mojo going on to prevent that.

You ordered Japanese version?

Wouldn't you like to buy it from http://www.lik-sang.com/ or http://www.play-asia.com/

It should be much faster...i mean immediately..

Damn man theres got to be a way to make a dvd5 rip outta this....i cant wait to try out GT4, prolouge was damn fun but its no fun after it's already beat once. All we need is a .VOL extractor that works w/ the final GT4.vol i tried several different ones designed for GT3 and GT4 Prolouge but no luck. If we can get a .VOL extractor and rip the music, intro movies, credits etc i bet we can rip 1.5 or 2GB off

Javakiko

If you have internation A license, finish all beginner hall with gold it should take you to car requirements.

BUT I dunno what car requirements are it wont let me on past the main splash either. mind you i havent finished all beginner stuff yet, onlt had it 3 days and i've been at work on nights since it came. Doh!

EDIT

All i can make out is "extra requirements to beginner and pro due to license" Which i assume in my case means not having iA

Since I have swap magic, the original is useless to me since I can't boot it. I'd just like a ripped version to play with.

Given up waiting now. Trying to get the Japanese demo of GT4 off the net, but it's proving slow as anything. Can't find a decent torrent for it, and Emule sucks.

un ciao a tutti gli italiani del forum...
ahhh..
si lavora e si fatica
per gt4 e per la..... ;-))

for the forum moderator:
as i already said i'm really sorry
i didn't mean to endorse piracy or copied games in any way
i only wanted an evidence for what i was saying, that is to say that DVD+R DL on ps2 work so this is not the problem that makes GT4s not work...

they can say it will work as DVD5 because it most likely would. But since no one can do it yet they dont know for sure.

look at the list: every game working as DVD5 has a link to the ripkit, so why GT4 not?
