Don't think you can use the SMS player without already a way to launch elf files.

ok members, u guys have to hear this, since a don't have a armax disc, i decided to do my own thing, this is what i did. I went to my PC, i took all my Download .elf's and loade all of they on one disc. From cogswap to Hd loader to cd loader, i put about 8 loaders on that disc. i used Nero to creat a boot disc. i had nothing to do so i said lets me mess around with my ps2. I blocked all my sensor and then put the GTA SAN ADREAS PS2 disc in my slimline, when the ps2 logo came up on my screen i quickly swap the disc with my burned copy of all the ELF's. Then my screen remain black and after a moment the red screen came up "Please insert format disc" i then unblocked the sensor by the reset switch and put GTA San ADreas back in. Then on my screen, the 2 memory card appeared, i went into my first card and all my saved game appeared on my screen, now that is normal "NOW THIS IS THE AMAZING PART" i pressed the red circle button on my Joystick to return to my main screen and to my surprise the 2 memory cards appeared and a golden disc appeared on my screen, can anyone tell me what this is. i then put a copied game in the ps2 and pressed the golden disc the the red screen appeared again "please inset format disc" can anyone tell me if this is game or bad, i did not use a ARMAX DISC< urgently await your reply

The original thread for this forum was posted by MasterChu. He has deleted it (and all his other comments) which makes the post somewhat useless for new users (like myself). To read his original posts do the following:

1. Go to the first page of this thread and copy its link.
2. Go to the WayBackMachine located at www.archive.org.
3. Paste in the link you copied into the WayBackMachine and click "Take Me Back".
4. Click on the May 2007 link.

You'll now be looking at the first page of this thread and be able to read the May 2007 pages from 1-5 (it looks like MasterChu deleted his posts on 11 June 2007.

MasterChu said he removed his posts because he is "moving". Of course that doesn't make sense but if the administrator of this forum thinks they should not be seen again (at least not on AfterDawn.Com) then please delete my post.

A lot of Masterchu tutorials are also already in our guides.

That is cool though using the waybackmachine. I didn't even know that was there. Thanks for the info.

The "Unofficial_PS2_Guide_rev1" is an outstanding resource that I had previously "discovered". I did look at the page 157 tutorial but was looking for something more specific to my situation (ActionReplay Max backup and SwapMagic). I eventually found a modded ActionReplay that was made for SwapMagic users (which was again graciously provided by you, SmokyRain).

I'm glad I was able to provide some new/good information to you about the WayBackMachine. As a matter of trivia, the name comes from a cartoon series that was part of the Rocky/Bullwinkle shows. The machine was used by Peabody; a genius,time-traveling dog and his pet boy, Sherman. (maybe I should take that machine and delete this off-topic post) :-)

I keep getting the "No media files found on pendrive" error.
I've tried unplugging and replugging the pen drive for over 2 hours.
I used max media creator, and Alcohol 120% to burn everything.
I tried two USB drives and it still doesn't work.

Any help?
