It's all good. I figured you probably wouldn't know, I've looked around the internet but all people really know how to do is take a basic screen shot. Just thought it would be worth my time to ask if you did know. Thanks anyway.

You did one way of adding that map to your xbox but there is a way that allows you to add any map you like, new maps, killtrocity maps, etc... My internet is terrible right now so I can't look for the tutorial and I can't remember all of it. You open up DotHalo and I think go to the MUTG tag, if that is multiplayer globals (or was it just globals?) Anyway, in there you use the tag editor to add the maps. You write in the description of the map and the name. You absolutely MUST name the map inside the tag editor the name of the map you are putting on your xbox. For example Zanzibar is not called "Zanzibar," it is called cyclotron.. Be sure to get that right.

OK, Got a Question for ya.. I set up everything correctly i believe and disabled auto update and turned on dev. mode and When I hit start the screen goes black and I hear continuos song loop.= FROZEN..
What do I do?? I have halo on harddrive using dvd2xbox copier and am not using the disk whats Wrong?

Provide me with the following information:
1. Is the game you are using NTSC or PAL?
2. What dashboard do you have installed?
3. Are any other controllers plugged in?
4. What ALL options do you have turned on?

sorry to bother you again but i cant see the the new maps(contaiment,turf,etc.)when i run yelo but when im not running yelo i can whats the deal with that?i saw a guy on youtube who used yelo and got onto containment,did he do something special?please reply!

Well, the reason for that is because when you run Yelo, you are disabling auto-update. Just try turning that off and see if that affects anything for the time being. If not, you can just leave that turned off.
If that does affect the way Yelo works, then there are a few other alternatives. I actually have a patch that can be applied to the "mainmenu.map" to make it so that you can see all maps that are new without an update. However, to do this, you either must copy Halo 2 to your HDD or make a different Halo 2 DVD.
If enabling the auto-update does not work, and you want to re-try it with the alternate method I mentioned; and I'll see if I can find the patch and post it on here. The only problem with that is that I would either have to write, or find, a tutorial about how to apply the patch and such.
Just let me know what you want to do.

I'm sure I do know where you could download them, but I'm not so sure I'm allowed to mention it on this forum board. If you want me to tell you, you can either join my own forum board...or you will have to get permission from an admin before I can mention it.
As for the patch, if you just wait until next friday'ish, sorry, then I will be able to post it. With final exams coming up and all, I'm very busy until then.

the trainer works great, but i tried to play a campaign
level from disk, with the trainer on, and I spin uncontrollably.
How can I fix this

You can use the control to change that. Just press back+dpad-up. That's part of the DevCam...which you can turn off... But that would defeat the purpose of this trainer.

Hey!
I am experiencing a rather peculiar problem. I followed your tutorial as well as I could. I got all the cheats to work, but none of the camera functions. I followed your two posted solutions (re-import Halo 2 to the HDD, and rename the $u file) all with no noticable results. I downloaded a new trainer called Dev Mode and messed around with it for a while. I quickly got bored, due to Dev Mode's lack of capabilities. I returned to the forum and stumbled upon a post saying something or other about a 2nd controller controlling the camera. I immediately grabbed the 2nd controller (which was plugged in the whole time) and tried the time freeze command. The screen went black for 3 seconds, then returned into a polygonal world with no textures. I then unplugged the controller and tried the first controller and the same thing happened. Any button I pressed (except Right Trigger and Left Trigger) would trigger the black polygonal reset. I own an NTSC copy of Halo 2, incase that helps. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm, never really met a person who has done research before asking...good job!
Well, there are 3 possible things I can think of. You may want to make sure that IGR (In-Game Reset) is off in your options menu of your dash. Once again, leave any additional controllers un-plugged. The 2nd solution I can think of would be to change your LCD type in the .ini configuration of your dashboard; if you need help with that, let me know. The 3rd thing is to make sure you have the right dashboard (Evolution X). So, just let me know what dash you have.
Hopefully one of these can solve the problem. You may just also want to change your gaming region to NTSC (PAL will still work) just in case.
Let me know if you need help with anything, or if you get this problem solved.

Thanks a bunch for the prompt advice!
I am currently running UnleashX on my xbox, so that could be the problem. If this trainer can run on UnleashX, then I will try the IGR solution (although I'm not quite sure of how to go about doing that). Thanks again for your help, really exceeding expectations :).

So, just to clarify, should I switch to Evolution-X and attempt the IGR solution, or will I be able to use the trainer and change the IRG settings in UnleashX?

Wow, too many post in one. I'm gonna ask a mod to clean that up.
Yeah, the config file needs to be transfered, but that was mentioned in my tutorial. I know what wireframe mode is, and it should impress a lot of people as it allows you to see the design specs.
As I said, Evo-X is prolly the best way to go. I'm not 100% sure. As for changing your gaming region, you need to edit your .ini file for your dashboard.
