Well, I'm not all that familiar with the XBMC...but I'm sure you can find some things on the #xbins IRC that are made for it that will launch trainers.
To tell you the truth, I'm interested in getting the XBMC and I'll be finding out for myself very soon. I'll let you know what I find.

All I'm saying, is try deleting Halo 2 from you HDD (not the gamesaves). Then, use something like DVD2Xbox Tool and copy it to your HDD and maybe try it that way?

HDD stands for Hard Disk Drive (also known as your hard drive). People often just call it an HD (Hard Drive).

This is my situation, strange in my opinion. The trainer's mods work great (AI not tested yet) except I cannot get the camera controls to work. I checked if I put the right config in the right place and that was right. I checked out other things to and all is a go. So in the game I load a map and trying to do the camera effects, the main thing I have been trying to start out with to get to work is 3rd person. This doesn't work (and yes developers mode is on). If I push white+dpad-up(or white+back)it freezes time and I can look around but not move, if I look down I see half my torso. This has to mean something though right because it is a camera effect thing? One other thing is that if I push back+dpad-up, nothing happens except the game runs slower and the xbox makes sounds (the sound of a hard drive making those ticking sounds. Everything else works except those two things. I would appreciate if you could help me out.
Other info:
Dashboard: XBMC
Controllers: 1
Downloads: All yours (April 8th)
Directions: Thoroughly looked through and used yours.
Not sure what else to put.

@Rockydawn - There are a few other things to make sure of. Make sure you are using the NTSC version of Halo 2, and also make sure your region on your xbox is set to NTSC.
The only other reason I can see for your problem, is that your using XBMC. I haven't tested this yet, but plan to soon.
@brado920 - I'm checking into that now. I'm sure I might be able to get it to work. I've gotten both Killtrocity (V1 & V2) to work, no problem.
EDIT: To explain to you how to use that file would require me to make a new whole tutorial. It may take me some time. If you join my site, I'm sure the BETA version will be posted on there sooner.

I don't know how XBMC has to do with it because everything else works. (AI was tested and works great :D) I'm not sure what you mean by NTSC and I saw it earlier in this thread because I read the whole thing looking to see if anyone had the same trouble as me. So how do I know If I have NTSC.
Oh and another thing I also tried this on evox dash since XBMC rocks and you can go through everything in your memory as if you were doing it with a FTP thing. No difference on the evox.
One other thing. In entity how do I add a map to the mainmenu, I looked up tutorials but they say things that is not in the options for my entity.

As I said, I'm not sure if XBMC would or not, but evox should work fine. For the NTSC part, I've included a picture below. As for adding a map to your mainmenu, as far as I know, you must have an edited "default.xbe" file. I'm not certain. But, at the same time, I've heard that all you need is a hex editor. I don't think entity can do this. Dothalo might be able to.

Basically, you just need to open the "defualt.xbe" file for your Halo 2 disk in a hex editor. Then you need to copy the data for the name of a map and inject it in there. Then, you need to change the name. However, all of this only works if Auto-update is disabled, or is non-existant.
Once again, all of this would deserve another tutorial.

I'm not at all familiar with hex editors. Wouldn't it be handy if we all had logmein.. That program is so handy at times. Anyway my xbox update thing is non existant and I don't have much else to say until the picture shows.
Edit: Posted this before you said the pic was not working.
Edit 2(picture posted):I have collectors but I will look for that sign on the manual and the box and anything else I will think of that could have it.

Well, I have logmein; and I was thinking of starting an Xbox Modding Live help some day. But once again, this is probably only going to be for members of my website only, because I'm not sure if AfterDawn would allow me to advertise this.
I think the the best tutorials are showing others first-hand...but sometimes that's not always possible.
I guess if you would like me to show you how to do this stuff, you could just join my website, and get ahold of me, and I'll show you on Logmein. Eh, it's up to you.
