You need to exchange the disc or use another drive. It's always better to have more than one drive anyway, not least because sometimes one drive will work where another won't.
I tried opening this disk again with the latest version of DVDFab6 and got a message telling me that I needed to buy their premium version.
I've noticed that a lot of the DVD Ripper developers are claiming that you need the latest release of THEIR product to rip DVD's like WALL-E and District 9, but you can actually do it with good old DVD Decrypter if you know how to find the real VTS and PGCs, eliminate unplayable cells, use the right file-splitting etc.
Key step in eliminating fake VTS is to find the actual run-length of the movie in HR/Min/Sec using a DVD player.
I posted earlier for this DVD, but to improve and clarify:
1. USE IFO mode
2. In TOOLS/Settings/IFO Mode, set file splitting to "by VobID".
3. Select ONLY VTS_07 PGC 1 [01:38:12] (all others are fake)
4. Uncheck unplayable/pointless cells 1-8 in Chapter 1
5. Optionally, use Stream Processing and Demux both Video and Audio.
If you chose normal VOB output, the movie will be in two *.vob files:
VTS_07_VOBID_008_1.VOB
VTS_07_VOBID_009_1.VOB
If you chose Stream Processing, the output movie will be in two M2V VIDEO files:
VTS_07_VOBID_008_1 - 0xE0 - Video - MPEG-2 - 720x480 (NTSC) - 16~9 - Letterboxed.M2V
VTS_07_VOBID_009_1 - 0xE0 - Video - MPEG-2 - 720x480 (NTSC) - 16~9 - Letterboxed.M2V
