Anny body Help me i want to step by step guide of PS2 slim play games from USB?I want this tutorial without modification or swap magic like shits.i tried usb advance that is write on cd-r but my ps2 didn't recognized.

an nonmodified ps2 cant read burned ps2 software such as a burnt copy of usb advanced.
1. get swapmagic or one of the few cheat devices or games that will allow you to boot a freemcboot installation

2. block the sensors that keep the ps2 lid from being opened(there are around 3 i think) heres a video that shows you how to do that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dWQpBgzSeY

3. use one of the cheat devices or games to boot the freemcboot installation. heres a link to the step by step install for each of the cheat devices and ps2 software that will be used to launch the freemcboot install. http://freemcboot.info/

when you go to copy the freemcboot files to the usb drive make sure to copy openps2loader sms and esr .elf files http://sksapps.com/opl/downloads/OpenPS2Loader_0.8.zip

http://sksapps.com/exploit/freevast/ESR/ESR%20beta%20r9b.rar

esr is used to play patched backups using this patcher http://forums.sksapps.com/showthread.php?t=7212

openps2loader is used to play backups through usb and smb and in fat models off the internal hdd

sms allows you to watch .avi files off a usb

well am new here ..i just bought a PS 2 slim and am also playing PES on it..but i want to be playing the game through my usb drive ..how am i going to go about that ,,

help help please

you need to have something to boot the freemcboot installation with. such as 007 nightfire or even some cheat devices work. this is the place to look on how to install with a cheat device or swapmagic http://freemcboot.info/ heres a good tutorial on how to install it with 007 nightfire.

if you don't want to do all that I dont mind if you send it to me through the mail for me to install mcboot and you can pay the return shipping. since i have a ps2 with mcboot installed it only takes a second to do.

Oh tanx man,but i got a dude here who charge me for installing d stuff...but the problem am rily having is playing games thats over 4gb e.g god of war 2,gta sanandrease and fifa...is their anyway to bypass 4gb file limitatation on usbadvance or opl 0.7 co
z datz d two am currently using to play games on my pendrive.

its not really a problem with open ps2loader or usbadvanced its probably because your using a fat32 formatted usbdrive fat32 filesystem cant handle anything over 4gig are you using a slimps2?

since you have a fat ps2 it would be much better if you got a ide hard disk drive and a ps2 lan adapter and loaded your games onto the hdd with winhiip it gets much better compatibility than the usb and the movies in game dont lag also using winhiip you can get the games that are over 4 gigs to copy.

oh gosh..is their any other wayz like maybe if i get d hdloader to d ps2 mmc..can it load d usb games?? coz network adapter is rily too costly here
