When I try to use swap magic 3.6 with Jak 3, the game doesn't start and my slim ps2 makes weird noises. I tried two different isos, using DVD Encrypter to burn them at 4x speed. Both made the same noise and didn't work. I have burned games before and after this which all work fine. I found a compatibility list for swap magic 3.6 and Jak 3 is on it. Does anybody know a fix for this?

Edit: I just burned the game Second Sight and the same problem occurs. All of my other games work fine still. Just Jak 3 and now Second Sight that make the noise and don't load. Also, it a wait a little bit I get the not a valid ps2 disc message on the screen for the Second Sight game.

Fixed: I attempted to run the games without the ps2 cover on and this fixed the problem. I figured out that the problem was my tape and tissue mod. I rolled up a piece of masking tape and stuck it into the hole to block the sensor on the lid. The piece of tape was too long and was touching the motor that controls the laser. I still don't know why this only caused problems for certain games though. Oh well
