I want to buy a PS3 soon but since it doesn't have playback functions, I would also like to get my hands on a PS2. I searched the web and I see different methods on how to mod(softmod) a PS2 Slim. I see the tape mod most often but it will make my ps2 look ugly in my opinion. I then stumbled upon this program that Memento made which uses this usb memory card called the Memor32.

I'm new to the "Sony" console business so I wouldn't know what all the codes mean. But I am just wondering if the PS2 Slims that are being shipped around are compatible with the Memor32 that is out.

I'm sorry for starting this thread. Please unlock it, after doing some research I found out that they are compatible with all ps2 models. Sorry for making this thread again. Please lock it if you may.

Does it work with 90004 consoles with the new bios ? The ones that are FMCB incompatible ?

No, shossofe is correct. Memor32 doesn't work on the SCPH-9000x models with DAte Code 8c or higher.
