I posted a topic before asking how to burn games and get it online but that was before I buy a DVD-writer so I was not able to try it myself.
Now, I bought one and I could use it to test games myself but my PS2 which is 70004 wasn't able to read a lameDVD-R media which was really cheap so I thought of buying a good media and I went on with Verbatim, it worked perfectly but sometimes it could not be read by my console and I guess its the laser lens so if someone could please tell me the best way to clean it or anything that would make it work better.
Second thing, is that I can't get the game to go online, I tried this on PES 6 and PES 2008 (not sure if they still give them online support) in PES 6, after connecting and verifying the DNAS it says that I am connected but after that it says testing network connection or something like that and it gives an error afterwards!
In PES 2008 I pass everything even the testing network connection thing and then I come across the menu with the 4 choices which are Login, Register, Change registration data and Disconnect and exit, it says that the connection had been lost whether I entered any of the first three.
So whats the problem in this case? Is it a problem with my connection? my router? or they don't give any online support for these games anymore? if so can you give me any game that you are sure it still gives online support of which I am going to download and test online?

To clean your laser lens, use a q-tip and Rubbing Alcohol
Clean in a gentle, but firmly circular motion for about 30 secs, then using dry end of q-tip, dry it for about 8 secs or so in the same manner.
As for playing backups online, you need to patch the DNAS using a program called Windip
Well, I patched the DNAS id and I passed the DNAS verifying (in PES 2008) but when I go to login or register it just load for 5 minutes or so then it says that the connection was lost, what does that mean? is the game no longer online supported or is it a problem with my router or so?
