PS2 Swap Magic - Black Screen instead of launching ISO

I have Swap Magic 3.8 for the PS2, and until recently, I'd been attempting to use DVD+R's for my backups.
Well, those didn't work for me. So naturally, I went out and bought a bunch of DVD-R's, instead. Now, I had burned a copy of Kingdom Hearts to a DVD+R before, which obviously didn't work.
Now I've burned the same ISO (using ImgBurn, mind you) to a DVD-R, and tried to use Swap Magic with it. My system is an NTSC system, as is the ISO (I'm pretty sure) so when the options come up, I select "Normal" and "NTSC". However, I've also tried PAL and Default under "Normal" and "Special".
When the game launches, all I get is a black screen, with no sound. Whereas before the DVD+R's would just take me perpetually back to the browser screen.
What am I doing wrong?
