yes you can ues a 3,5 or a 2.5 sata hdd for ps2

its from dx so its prolly low build quality but I've only use the original ide versions. I heard it only has support for sata hdd but it has no Ethernet port so for coping games either get a big hdd or you'll be opening up your ps2 every time you want to put a new game on it.

they make a slim case as well that holds two hard drives
