hi i have modified jayteemasters pal to ntsc y-fix as to only patch y position only this is useful if you have a hdtv that gives color but screen is too low or standard tv you can play in b&w also if you can play in b&w patch with ps2 v-fix for color have fun!!!!!!!!!

There has also been a patch for awhile now that allows you to play your PAL games in color and with the screen centered on hdtv !

hi yamyfz

I have some games which i purchased in europe, they are Pal format. when i use this games in ps2, i get black and white picture and am able to play fine sound all good. since TV is ntsc.
Your posts above indicate run ps2 v-fix for color.
Ok i use this ps2 v-fix and choose source iso file. and click on patch. the contents in iso file don't change, also size. only the date on file updates to latest. what is going on here, is it patched how to confirm.
Can you please give step by step instruction, please suggest.

the v fix patch doesnt change the iso size. all it does is patch the memory kernel in the sles***.** file. it will say done after selecting your iso file
