Hi everyone!

I have a PS2 slim line, model SCPH-90004 and it is modded with Mars Pro GM-816. I can't get it to play a backup PS1 game I burned on a CD, but the CD plays well in a ePSXe emulator.
I tried tapping the PS2 reset button twice to start the game (is that supposed to start it with Mars Pro mod chips?) but it just takes me to a red screen with Please insert PS1 or PS2 format disc (or something) or it takes me to the gray screen with a memory card and a CD icons...
Am I doing this wrong? Do you think the CD could be bad, or that this PS2 model can't play PS1 games with the mod chip? I'll try burning another PS1 CD but I can't do it anytime soon, so I just wanted to know if I should try something else with the CD I got.

You only need to tap the reset button Once to play any game whether its PS1 etc.
