Hi guys i need a quick answer here if possible. Could i use something like vinegar or vodka to clean a laser. I think the laser is gone anyway so im willing to try anything and vodka and vinegar are the two things i have aground at the moment that i thought might work.

Just need to say this as i think someoe will find it as funny as i...

I once tried cleaning a lite on drive laser with white spirits and the laser just started to melt lol, I dont want to do anything like that again ha ha ha

why do you think it needs cleaned? Just use warm water on a q-tip that is damp. If not, replace the laser or drive.

Thanks for the tip, just realized this was suppose to go in ps3 section as it refers to blu ray drive. Sorry

Will a damp cue tip work on all laser types? curious!
