Hi,

I read a few threads here and couldn't find the answer.

I have Nero 7.0, and i've been trying to burn some video's me and my friends made from the computer to DVD.

The videos are in .avi format now, and I use Nero Vision, and I select Pal, but when I insert the burnt disks into the PS2 it doesn't read the disk. It says "reading disk" then no disk icon shows up, nor does the disk boot.

It works fine in the computer, the PS2 is model 39002.

Never heard of skc disk's.Its not the speed its the quality of the disk, use verbatim, ritek, decent brands, also speed wise you shouldn't burn the disk say no faster then 6x.Is the burned disk in the dvd_video standard? or is it avi,if avi cant remember if the ps2 plays avi, might be worth you posting you question in the ps2 forum.

Are these rewritables? If so don't use them. You'd probably have better luck with standard write-once media. It would also be a good idea to get a real DVD player.

Looking for a new burner? Check here.
