u need ur ps2 modded then copy ur files to a dvd-r or a cd-r

Hi, I was told that if your PS2 isn't modded then it can"t play anything burnt. Is this true? My Ps2 can play burnt movies. When I burn the game onto a dvd R my Ps2 won't read it. Is there a special software I have to use or do I have to convert files or anything? Thanks.

yeh its true u can only play burned and copied games when ur ps2 is modded sucks i know. If u have a modded ps2 yes their is software avalable to burn games

ok, Can you tell me what the software is and maybe how to do it. my Ps2 is modded because it will play burnt movies, but the games I download they don't burn right.

Im not 100% about this but there is a way using dvd decrypter to change to disks id or something. Just type up on the internet how to play burned games or something has long as your ps2 is modded your alright. I aslo think u can already play burned movies on ps2 but again im not 100%.

No console of any make can play backups without some hack or mod,it's what allows the backup to be read,due to forum rules in a cryptic way you have your answer

one more question. If I am burning an Iso game file, does it matter what kind of blank dvd I use? For example: Dvd +R, Dvd -R, Dvd Rw.

Yes it does matter your console & mod chip support for that type of format,since it's a PS2 i'd recommend DVD-R or DVD+R & book type it to DVD-R,use a good quality disc
