Yeah the price has dropped to around £70 inc. at most stores, but still, it had been falling for weeks, I don't regret buying when I did, I was always going to lose out at some point, with the way hardware prices change, in particular with the slight increase of the value of the pound versus the dollar.

I'm curious if anyone with the "CoolIT ECO-R120" have heard it gurgle (Air bubbles) at times? If it isn't that, then I have a fan making funny sounds. But I swear it sounds like air bubbles LOL! Russ? Will? ☻

If you have a leak, it'll be more apparent than just sound because you'd have a physical drip. If it's gurgling, like the pump is cavitating, you may very well have an underfilled loop cycling air. s far as experience with the product itself I can't tell you much. The only one I've installed apparently works just fine...
@Sam, WTF on MSN dude? Friends or siblings get onto your computer? For the record if it was you, I don't really appreciate your sense of humor...

I sent you a message about it but you're offline.
Yeah that would be my brother. Despite having never done so in 8 months, windows live messenger decided to automatically sign in on their laptop at work. He was leaving messages there to attract my attention in the hope that I'd see them, but I wasn't at my PC at the time. So er, sorry about that :P

I heard the sound before My last blow out at least twice. There were no loose fluids. I hear the sound once a day, if that. I was simply curious if I am a rare case ;)

Oman7,
I've had mine in and out at least 6 times and I've never heard a peep or a gurgle out of it! not even with the hotter AM2 3800+ single in it. Do you by any chance have it plugged into the power fan header on the motherboard? Neither the pump or the KamaBay fan like that header and both make funny noises when connected to it1

I heard the sound yet again. However, this time it sounded more like a fan flutter. Perhaps a bearing or sleeve is failing. I wonder if the air pressure from my blowout harmed one of the fans. It was pretty powerful...
If I had to guess, I'd say it was either the 230mm fan on the side, or one of the radiator fans.

I have my pump and both fans pluged directly in my Power Supply unit not into the board.I never heard any funny sounds from the pump.I can't hear or tell it's running either it's so smooth you would need a stephoscope to hear like a heart beat in your chest,Check them Fans one maybe goin Out:)

If use Air especially High pressured air pump Hold them Blades with your hand cause you can damage the fan by pushing it way pass it's Rated rpm's limit. I've done it before Believe me When. I don't have air handy. I use Rubbing alcohol & Q.Tips to clean my Blades it cuts thru that Dust quick and drys fast to...;)

I agree with bigwill. When you blow out your case make sure you hold the fans in place. I usually put a chunk of scotch tape on each one or better yet just stick my finger in it when I'm blowing it out.

It's a pretty comical idea to exceed a fan's maximum rpm and damage the bearing by blowing compressed air on it, but if it's a really powerful spray then I suppose it's easily doable.

No. It only makes the sound 2 - 3 times a day. Which makes it difficult to pinpoint. I am due for another blowout though.

Indeed. Video compression is a very specific algorithm. Winzip, winrar, 7-zip, etc were not designed/compiled with video compression in mind. Video compression is a much more complex process ;)
I always liked Dr. Divx myself. But now I'm more into HD files. Which is where Programs like Megui, and Ripbot264 come in handy :D

I've been a fan of http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ for a while now, they have good removal information on the latest malwares and such. Of course "most" times Windows runs different after removal than before and I reinstall windows on "most" computers anyway, but it has much information available.

If anyone at work brings me home machines to fix, I just use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to scan, Spybot Search & Destroy, and make sure the virus scanner is up to date. For work machines it's a bit easier, though i still use the same programs. Once in a while i have to follow detailed removal instructions if someone's gone to town on getting infected with seriously bad ones.
I've said it before and i'll say it again :) - i've lived on the internet since it was born, and i've only ever caught one, maybe two very minor viruses. The other week i had a machine to fix and it have over 70 nasties on it, once i'd resurrected it i told the guy to slap his family and teach them how to use the internet, you have to really go out of your way to pick up nasties, maybe i've just got some kind of spidey sense on what to avoid. (Nah, i think a lot of people out there have flashing neon signs on their heads saying 'nasties come get me').
As to that crapola Xilisoft, i'm afraid the homepages of programs such as that should be enough warning signs to run a mile, there's plenty enough reputable freeware out there, AutoGK to name but one.
I switched my home machines from AVG to Symantec Endpoint Protection a few months ago, no real reason, we use it at work so i felt like a change.
We bought one of these today, for the boardroom at one of the branches, very smart little things, it's going to be connected to a projector ~
Just need to find reasons to buy some more :p
