I have relatively no idea how to make it possible to play burned games on my ps2, specifically japanese ones. I know about swapmagic, but I haven't had any luck finding where to buy it, nor do I know which version would be the best for me, since I have a PS2 PHAT. I found something once about being able to use a usb flash/thumb drive (sidenote: calling it a "thumb" drive is irritating, but for the sake of other people understanding, I'll use it) and an Action Replay to soft-mod the system. I'm not confident in my soldering skills, so I'm not sure if a mod chip would be a good idea. I might be able to get my dad to do it though. It also depends on how expensive the method is. Sorry if I sound broken and choppy, I'm just thinking a lot while writing ^^;; Anyway, I'm getting all mixed up trying to explain everything, so I'll just stop here.
If you need to know something before you can recommend anything don't hesitate to ask! I just want to play .hack//frägment and the PS2 re-release of NiGHTS into dreams. That's all I want! >~<;;;
Can FreeMcBoot run burned PS2 games from regions other than NTSC-U? I'm looking for a way to play NTSC-J games, and I couldn't find anything on the site about that. I need a little more info, if you would, please.
