Hey all. I have a PS2 slim and I have recently been searching around the internet in regards to soft mod. I haven't come across any satisfactory results yet so I am requesting assistance from the good people of Afterdawn.com.

The results I have discovered from my searches are methods that involve taking apart the console and placing tissue paper in certain holes and such. This is not desirable in my opinion. What I am searching for is an actual exploit, which does not require taking apart the console, similar to the same fashion as the Xbox soft mod.

I had found what I thought to be just that, when I realized what seems like it is only compatible with the original PS2 and not the slim version.

My wish is to have the capability of playing back up games. If anyone here can guide me in the right direction it would not go unappreciated.

Another point I want to bring up is that if such a soft mod exists, I would imagine that it would involve something like Action Replay or Codebreaker which to my knowledge are no longer made. If this is the case, where would I find such a thing?
