Where can I find cheats for PS2 for Coder?

Hi ,
I just got SwapMagic Coder 3.8. I have a list of cheats built in, but how can I can add more cheats?
I know how to access the cheat menu, but how do I find a cheat for a game?
How does the cheat look like?
Is it just some text you add, or movements? are those cheats specially for SwapMagic coder?
Is there a website for all SwapMagic Coder Cheats?

The second link you sent is only for Code Breaker! is this compatible with SwapMagic Coder 3.8?
What about the first link? if I click on Cheat Files on the left I get something for Swap Magic.

With swapmagic you can use any elf (codebreaker) file just rename it to SMBOOT0.ELF & put it on the root of a usb drive
i dont know if SwapMagic Coder 3.8 is the same but i'm guessing it is
hence the second link for code breaker codes
just i havent got swapmagic but i am trying to help.

I am sorry to see all of this. I thought the process of adding a cheat code for coder 3.8 is much easier. At least this is how the manual is showing it.
The SwapMagic Coder 3.8 manual has those steps to add a cheat code to a game:
Adding new game title:
1. Select ?Cheat? after boot up PS2 with CODER to enter Cheat
Function.
2. Press to open Option Menu.
3. Select ?ADD GAME?, you will see ?ADD GAME? window comes
up, enter the game title name and select when finish.
4. After adding a new game title, you can use ?EDIT
GAME?/?REMOVE GAME? from the Option Menu to edit game
name or remove game title from the list.
Adding/Saving new cheats for game:
1. Select ?Cheat? after booting up PS2 with CODER to enter Cheat
Function.
2. Use ?↑↓? to select game title.
3. Press ?→? to see cheats under the game.
4. Press to open Option Menu.
5. Select ?ADD DESCRIPTION?, you will see ?ADD
DESCRIPTION? window comes up, enter the cheat description
and select when finish.
6. You can use ?EDIT DESCRPITION?/?REMOVE DESCRIPTION?
to edit a description name or remove the cheat description from
the list.
7. Use ?↑↓? to select cheats, then press ?→? to enter codes area
under the cheat description.
8. Press to open Option Menu.
9. Select ?ADD HEXCODE?, you will see ?ADD HEXCODE?
window comes up, enter the cheat code and select when
finish.
10. You can use ?EDIT HEXCODE?/?REMOVE HEXCODE? to edit a
hexcode or remove a hexcode from the list.
11. To save the new cheat codes, press to open Option Menu.
12. Select ?SAVE NOW? to save those new cheat to the memory
card.
I went through all those steps and it was very simple. There is no burning or booting or elf file creating.
All what I am looking for is a HEXCODE that is compatible with SwapMagic. I found some HEXCOD for Codebreaker but it didn't work.
Is there a web site with HEXCODES for SwapMagic Coder 3.8? I should be able to enter this HEXCODE for each game and be done. It should be saved in the memory cartridge.

Update:
I downloaded MAXConvert v0.71, and was able to convert some HEXCODEs to SwapMagic, but non of the codes I tried worked for 2 or 3 games I tried. Is there something else I need to do to activate the cheats? I had infinit life for Spyro the new beginning, but there was no infinite life?!

I know I remember reading all that. I have never bothered to try adding codes to the SM 3.8
I know they are supposed to use one version of armax
But on their site it refers one to gameshark

That is why I just use armax evo for Swap Magic or Codebreaker patched to hdloader when I want cheats.
I don't even bother with the SM 3.8 Coder cheats. Too much hassle I think.

So you have to do all that ^ for every cheat (20 for some games) for every game (60 odd in my collection)....just use codebreaker the cheat files are very small, largest ive got is 40kb

I bought SwapMagic Coder 3.8 to make things simple for cheats.
You are saying to use Codebreaker. What is Codebreaker? is it a CD that you buy? or a CD you create?
How does the Codebreaker method work? and how do you add cheats?

That is all great. Your explanation is perfect.
But what about the code breaker thing. Once I get elf file and rename to smboot1.elf and put in my USB. What do I get?
Do I then select a game from a list? what if the game isn't there?
I downloaded Codebreaker 10. I have a 3.4Mb file and another 42MB img file? what is the difference?
I put the smboot2.elf file in my USB card, and tried booting with smboot2 from swapmagic. The USB started booting, but nothing happened. I repeated this witha PS2 copyied DVD game, but again nothing happened. It said need a PS2 CD, does it mean a DVD? Does it need to be original?
What are trying to accomplish?

Put Coder in you ps2, put usb drive in ps2, turn on hold up + L1
codebreaker will start, select cheats, put game in & play.
If you need more cheats, download them from here

& put them in a flolder called PCB on usb i think, its late & my brain hurts.

I have tried many times with Codebreaker 9.2, 9.3 and Codebreaker 10 elf and they don't work with SM 3.8 as far as I know
You need SM 3.6 for it too work.
I have fmcb 1.8 on all my PS2 except for my V18 which uses Swap Magic
With the fmcb 1.8 installed, you can use the Codebreaker ELF files that are patched to hddloader.
Or as I posted above, you can use the Armax evo for Swap Magic to use with SM 3.8. IT works great.

Where is Swap Magic from this process? is this only for original games? or does CodeBreaker replace SwapMagic?
If codebreaker can replace SwapMagic, then can I make a copy of Coder and get rid of SwapMagic?
