hi guys,
iv been using DVDShrink and Nero to Burn with as of late no problems, , i was trying to backup a few movies in the last 4 days and have got nothing but coasters at east 9 in a row, i have noticed that the "USER READ BUFFER" goes straight to 100% and then starts to burn, the " Buffer Level" goes to 100% and then were away , but then as the "completed % bar" starts to increase the user read buffer starts to decrease and goes down to 0% and also the buffer level fluciates up and down and then about 20% into the burn i get a failure,
im using the same discs , Laser tygo4's , in my sony dru-700a , with all firmware and nero updates in place, and i run nothing else when i burn, here is a copy of the last Log file, any help would be appreciated
regards
Steve

Demo38 ,
The problem is the blank media. Suggest you try Verbatim. Did a google search for Laser blank media and it is not the best media out there. Then went to another forum and inputed laser blank DVD . Information below:
