DVD Xcopy has not been updated for a very long time, and is not able to handle a number of the newer disks. You would be better off trying newer programs DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink both are free. You can use software tabe at the top of page to locate. Guides are available at these sites along with software

If you really feel you have to use this program try this thread were Xcopy questions are posted.

These are two great progs, they will do all you need to do just follow the guides. If you have problems with the program come on back and post and someone will help you.

They should work fine with your drive, as long as you are not experiencing any difficulties with your computer. You are able to play dvd's at this time with no problems, aren't you?

These two programs will allow you to back up your dvd's region free. Follow the guides and use good quality media i.e. Verbatim, Sony, Maxell, Taiyo Yuden, or TDK. Happy burning
