Mitch,

With a chipped ps2. On most games you can play them online with no problems at all. But there are some that detect the chips and therefore classing it as a cheat device so when you try to get passed the DNAS authenticating screen it will most likely crash or come up error -402 which i had.

The games that i had problems with were Rainbow six 3 & Socom 2 & 3.

Ive sold me chipped ps2 now & bought a normal one & im gonna use the swap magic disks instead as they work on most games online without getting stuck at the DNAS screen.

Yeh i know socom 2 & 3 backups dont work online, just saying that swap magic i found to be better, as my "original" socom 2 & 3 games dont work online with that chip i had.

That's one of the reasons I got Swap Magic and not a modchip, easier, safer and you can play online :)

Shauntay,

I thought the actual commercial release isn't due until mid-May which may be the reason it's not working... It'd be pretty obvious that you had a pirated version if you were online and the game hasn't even been released yet.

Can you pm (or post) the DNAS you've got and I'll give it a go.

Cheers,
Ngentot! :)

Hi. Has anyone tested and can confirm that this WRC rally evolved dnas code works.

xx xx 01 40 FC

I would just like to know before I copy the game to disc as my PS2 doesn't read DVD+/-RW's. Thanks.

Which DNAS / Disc ID is working for FIFA World Cup 2006 (PAL)?

You have posted the Disc ID from FIFA '06.

Shauntay,

I agree... Piracy is appalling! If only I could work out how to get the DNAS from my original games I wouldn't even be on this forum.

@Ngentot to get a dnas off an original, make an image of ur original game onto ur hard drive then use a program called windip, use windip to scan the image and it will give u the dnas

I thought you can only get the DNAS with the Disc ID Utilitie when the original is in the PS2. I don't think it will work with WinDIP.

Well, I'll be! Thanks Shauntay.

Now I seem to have lost my original of Urban Choas: Riot Response... Lucky I made the back up!

Has anybody managed to source the DNAS for it?

Cheers,
Ngentot :)

Rogue Trooper & Urban Chaos IDs are available at backupscene (link in sig)

@spoony008: Yes, either one of those IDs is correct for WRC Evolved.

@shauntay: You're talking cr*p! When you make an image of a game the DNA$ info is lost, hence the reason you have to patch the image to get passed the DNA$ Authentication check. So you CANNOT get an ID from an image of any original disc. You need to use Disc ID Utility with the original disc in your PS2.
lol. If you could get IDs from making an image of a disc, then what would be the need to patch them?
