Can you copy blockbuster games?

What exactly is a patch you guys are talking about and what instances do I need it for? I have been copying rented games and burning ISOs downloaded off the net for awhile now and I never have to apply a patch. I use swap magic 3.6. All I have to do is insert the game and press "DVD Copy" in Nero and let it create image then burn.

Hi guys, A BIT HEATED in here !!! while agree with U TomJohn r.e. your sentiment. I dont really think being abusive is the answer. Though he probably asked 4 it. Most Spanish people want every thing for free thats all I meant by that statement.I know this cause of were I live. by the way tom I hope you get banned theres no need for that.. Theres allways 1 butthead that messes it up for everyone.
Why do people insist on Tryin to get afterdawn in trouble all the time I think things are aginst the rules for a reason you know.
Also this whole thread needs too be erased its just a waste of good space.

Dude seriously ... what is the difference between a retail bought game and a rented game? NOTHING!!!! It's the same game!!!!.
So instead of bringing it up if it's legal or not, just learn how to backup your own games. The method will work for rented ones.
And just to let you all know ... I believe in some countries they do allow you to copy rented material. So all of you chill out.

I should of said ghetto Instead of spanish people.
The differnce between a rented game and retail game is about 43$.
Im sure you know what would happen if No body bought retail games.
I read the rules, So why is this tread still here?
Can you copy blockbuster games? That is against the rules.
It would have been differnt if he had said Can I back up blockbuster games that I own. If He would of done a search also he would not have needed to post this. Then he goes off topic and askes about patches.
Why is nothing done about this?

nothing's probably done about this because as even the MODS say it's not the big deal you're making it out to be.. and I'm sure there'll be a couple posts after this 1 sayin "stfu noob" or whatever else, but just cause I don't live on this site doesn't mean I'ma noob..ANYWAYS, I'll reimply what the mods said, if anyone of us could get something for free the hell if we wouldn't take it, and there's not 1 person on this site that could tell me they've never rented a game and burnt it for themselves and I'd believe them. It's WAY too unbelievable, I read WAY too many posts when I come on this site about "oh this is for knowledge only, for learning purposes".. blah blah bull****, most of us do it to get free games. Period. If Sony wants to come after me for it I invite them to, but for you and people like you to condemn others for renting a game and burning it, I speak for alot of people who would say "go to hell".. you've done it too. topic creator. Dont ever ask something like this again. And blockbuster is a bad idea anyways, most of their games are scratched up to hell and wear out the laser rather quickly
