I burn vcd's with two different programs and they never even play....

I never burned vcd's before but i downloaded a bunch of music videos to burn on vcd and every time i burn them they never play,they come up as "error no disk",and my dvd plays vcd's...I first tried easy cd 5 plat. that didnt work.Then i tried nero burning rom and it doesnt work....What am i doing wrong????Can someone please help me!!!

When you download a (s)vcd it might be PAL or NTSC. If you have a dvd player that plays PAL it might not work with NTSC vcd! or vice versa of course!

i heard from someone to try cd rw's,and it worked but some of the videos the audio didnt match the video,looked like a dubbed kung fu flick...should i burn at a slower speed or something?thanks for the help

Some DVD players, Sony for example, say that they play VCD's but they will only play factory pressed ones and not those burnt on a cd burner.
