thank you evnflow for the guide. am enjoying iso games now.
but my orginal Bleach 2 cannot be played after the downgrade. could you assist? thank you.

@crfbirdy...hey ok...when you left click and hold it down...it won't let you drag it to the open screen on VcdromX? what is it doing?
@EVNFLOW .....Ok when i try to drag the files over to the right hand side of the screen i get a round symbol with a line through it(this must mean that it is not able to do this operation)not sure what i am doing wrong but this is doing my head in lol

@crfbirdy....lol i was just about to reply to you when you replied...glad to hear you got it worked out...what was wrong with it? let me know how it turns out....
@s.s.j...you may be able to use YA UMD Iso Shrinker...or use a ripkit(if you don't mind the music and video being taken out)...what game its it? you can google for most of the ripkit and Iso shrinker or grab it from the link in my sig...let me know if you need any help on it...
@missy2001...i'll try Bleach 2 and see about it...haven't tried the newest one, still playing the first one...
@kavika...i've heard that some of the games won't load with the 1.0 versions...i'll look around and try to find a list for you of the games working\not working...holla ;)

I need help I just backed up my need for speed game and I had to split it into 5 parts because my memory card wasn?t big enough.anyways now I got 5 files that are a total off around 840mb I know that I need to extract them to get that bin and game file but do I have to do that to each of them or what? Can?t I just combine all 5 split files and then just extract it once? Thxs

@s.s.j...you can use ISO shrinker for both of those...there is also a ripkit for NFL street...check your pms...
@GeoStigma...never really tried to do split iso's...you might be better off combining them first and trying it..sorry man...i'll try it, you've got me curious on it too...

Sorry it took so long.. i was dl a game.. from the site i have a few questions. Is there a specific type of game i need to download, the one i downoaded says Burnout Legends-PAL-PSP-DAGGER is that something i can make work if so please instuct me. i downloaded the game and i have fastloader so tell me what to do now please !!! :)

i followed every step of this guide but it keeps saying please insert any UMD! i think i am putting the wrong files in the VCDROMX. what r the PSP_GAME and DATA.BIN files? do you actually put the PSP/GAME folder in the right colomn of the VCDROMX?plz help me i really want to play without the UMD in drive..

I have done everything and made the structure for the fastloader, then when i load up fastoader it says The game could not be started (80010002), this happens even when i have an iso game in the iso folder!, ive tried wipeout pure and a few other games.
Please help me! Thankyou :)

i have got a psp with firmware 2.0 and would like to know whether ISO files will work with fastloader v0.07? or do i have to downgrade to firmware 1.5?

Also i have read somewhere that if i downgrade to firmware 1.5 i wont be able to play all of the newer games? is this true? also is there neway to downgrade to firmware 1.52 and will this allow me to play ISO files with fastloader v0.07?

i have the umd emulator but i noticed that the config.dat file is missing! anyone got that that would like to share it i think thats why i cant get this thing to work?

@bang42...burnout will work for unless you have the new european version of the psp...all of the psps are region free except the european versions
@1piecefan...(great show)....do you have a umd in the psp, when trying to load up the iso?..on the vcdromx program...the psp_game folder and the umd_data.bin file are what you drag into the right side of the vcdromx program...you don't drag the PSP\game folder off of your psp into it...only the PSP_GAME Folder and UMD_DATA.BIN file(if you get the game in this form) will go into the right handed screen on VcdromX....usually though you won't get too many games that are in this way, they are usually in ISO format...the PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.bin files\folders are really just the EXTRACTED ISO file...thoses files and folders make up the ISO file...and with VcdromX you are just reversing the Extraction and joining them back together...if you already have the game in ISO format DO NOT EXTRACT it anymore...
@Bang42...VcdromX:
download it and once you extract it...look for an icon called "VcdromX"...(I'm going to use Fifa as an example in this guide) open this file up and a window will pop up on the screen type in "C:\Fifa" and make sure that the "FCD" button is checked...now click the left "??" on the bottom..now go to the folder where you have the "PSP_GAME" and "UMD_DATA.BIN" files\folders and DRAG them over to the right side of the "VcdromX" window...once this is done go to the top left corner and look for a box marked "??F", click on this and then go down to where it says "????(B)" click on this..a window will pop up click "OK"...this will start to convert this file to an ".FCD" file...
you can get VcdromX from the link in my sig...
@blocparty...do you have the Fastloader and Fastloader% folders in the PSP\GAME directory...and the ISO folder on the root Directory(the root directory is the first window that pops up..don't put the ISO folder in the PSP folder...just next to it...) and do you have an ISO file in the ISO folder...it seems you don't have one of those folders in the right place...
@babolat...you can use WAB Version changer, it will trick all of the new games into thinking that it has the updated firmware for you to play newer games...
