Hi there
I have a PSP ... pretty much a newbie with this whole fastloader thing. i read the first page but still have problems getting fastloader up and running
the specs I have is the PSP is Version 2 - V2 . Do I need to downgrade this to 1.5 in order to make Fastloader V.07 work?
Would there be another version of fastloader in order for it to work on V2?
any help is appreciated , thanks

The current game in question is Marvel Nemesis the files are
mupsp-mnr = ms info document
mupsp-mnr.001
mupsp-mnr.002
mupsp-mnr.003
mupsp-mnr.004
mupsp-mnr.005
mupsp-mnr.sfv
I have had others with same files (diferent names but all same types.)
once I(you) have sorted this one the others should be the same.

yes you must downgrade your psp from 2.0 to 1.5 in order for any homebrew apps or fastloader + isos to work.

ok. these are the correct files. you will first have to downgrade you psp though. you can find a guide on www.pspcrack.tk and the neccesary files. this will take some time. it works it doesn't brick your psp. just make sure all the files are in the right place. there are some good guides if you search psp downgrader in google.
to get the iso file from the files (oo1, 002 etc.) open 001 with WinRAR and then it should show you the iso. it should have a file .iso extract that to the desktop. don't go furthur in to that file. in the iso file there should be a folder and a file named psp_game and umd_data.

I renamed 001 to 001.rar and it seemed to work, started to extract but it said "cannot continue without file........"
will try again later.

now open 001 with WinRAR. adn there should be an iso. put it in the ISO folder.

and you most open the file with WinRAR nothing else.

Iam a new member and i have some questions !I have Fastloaderv 0.07 but it always freeze in the initalizing moment and i think i followed all ur steps !!I have Firmware 1.50 and i tried the games Wipeout pure, Virtual tennis and they both froze in the initializing mode ! so what can i do ? And where can i download the Fastloader v 0.05 or 0.08 ? I searched for it but didnt found it! And is therea chance that i can see my US umd movies on my Jap PSP? It always says its the wrong region code ! So i need help ! Thanks to all in front !

hi all
just recently got into the psp scene. am just wondering what fastloader/umd emulator is all about. pls bear in mind that i am new to all this homebrew and dont really understand fully how this all works.
could someone enlighten me what fastloader/ umd emulator is all about. ive read the listings but my head is hurting and i am really confused in what to do as there are several listings describing different ways but ending up to similar outcomes.
any help would be great

ok...when you download a game and you get a bunch of files that aren't in RAR form...then right click on the first file(not the NFO or SFV file) and see if it says "Extract Here"...if it does then do that, you should get an ISO file, if not then select "OPEN"...this should bring up another window saying, "Windows cannot open this file..." or something to this nature...Don't click ok or cancel...look to the bottom of this window...you should see two bubbles, one saying "use internet explorer to find a program, or such" and one saying, "select a program to open with" select the the last bubble(the one where you select a program to open with)...once you click this bubble and select ok...i should bring up another window...select WinRAR as the program and click on OK...this should bring up another window that has the ISO file in it...right click on the ISO and select to Extrat to...the Desktop..then place the ISO file in the ISO folder on your PSP....
alright...i'm stepping out for a few days(have to clear my head and work on a few ripkits for some games....and i will share all ripkits i have...too many questions flying at me from everywhere and need to get somethings done first....(right now the best ripkit i have is a Marvel Nemesis ripkit...that I CREATED...to fit on the 256mb mem stick(nothing cutout)...and one to fit on the 128mb(with only a few noises...cut out...won't notice them)...)here is the basic three things you will need for all of your psp troubles...
First off you need a psp with the Firmware version 1.50...this is the only firmware that fastloader will run on...for all with firmware version 1.0, you can grab Devhook(Hookboot Launcher)V.22, it will load up iso image files for the 1.0 ...
how to install:

To convert PSP_GAME folder and UMD_DATA.bin file to an ISO(use the program in my link...that's what this guide is based off of):
Vcdromx
download it and once you extract it...look for an icon called "VcdromX"...(I'm going to use Fifa as an example in this guide) open this file up and a window will pop up on the screen type in "C:\Fifa" and make sure that the "FCD" button is checked...now click the left "??" on the bottom..now go to the folder where you have the "PSP_GAME" and "UMD_DATA.BIN" files\folders and DRAG them over to the right side of the "VcdromX" window...once this is done go to the top left corner and look for a box marked "??F", click on this and then go down to where it says "????(B)" click on this..a window will pop up click "OK"...this will start to convert this file to an ".FCD" file...now once this is done go back to the top left corner and to the "??F" box..this time go down to where it says "??????C"..this will bring up another pop up window click on the folder icon on the top box and go to the C:\ and look for the file labeled "Fifa.FCD"...now click open or double click on that file and it will put that name in the pop up window that showed up...now click on the top right box ( next to the folder looking icon) labeled "??" and it will start to create an iso image file for you...you will have to close this window out because it will stay stuck on 100% once finished..but once it reaches 100% it is ok to close it...

I just downloaded Metal Gear Ac!d ISO using BitTorrent and it says its a 7z file. The site forum says i can just extract it using WinRAR or WinZIP but it won't be extracted and keeps saying its a corrupted file. What the hell is .7z file and does anyone have the same problem? I have a very slow internet connection and it took me 8 hours to download it so I don't want to do it all over again. Can someone plz help me?

Hello!
I am new to the whole Homebrew scene. I am having many problems to get my Virtua Tennis working on my PSP.
I have Fastloader 0.8 and all the files are in the right place. When i start it up it comes up with 'PSP_GAME' i press X and it returns to Home. I click on the UMD and it just plays the game which was already in there(Dynasty Warriors).
I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidance on this thankyou in advance.
Another thing I realised was that there was no Spongebob background, i don't know if it supposed to be like this, but i know it is on 0.7.
