PeiceFull: See there's the problem. The UMD Emulator won't even open. when I scroll to it on my mem stick, on the PSP menu, it makes as to open and then just locks up on a black screen. The emulator is the problem, not the ISO. Hmm...

http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/92 try this umd emulator
make sure you put the two UMDemulator loaders (umdemulator % umdemulator%) in psp\game
and put the UMDEMULATOR singular folder on the root of your memory stick.
However firstly make sure your on a psp firmware 1.5

DANGIT. Okay, I am on firmware 1.5 as I stated above (does jap version have anything to do with it? that's what always comes with the downgrader) And I have redone the UMD Emulator v0.8C more than once. Is there something on my PSP that is interfering? Bahh my PSP apparently doesn't want me to do homebrew. Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong.. well atleast it hasn't bricked yet. (crosses fingers)... Anyone have any ideas? I downloaded it from the link you sent me, it was all teh same stuff. There's something with my PSP that's not on others'.

EDIT EDIT EDIT x 4598345
DANGIT. Okay so I moved the UMD Emulator from the ROOT to the PSP folder just to see, and now atleast the emulator menu opened, but whenever I move the cursor it kinda weirds out, but I can still highlight and select my ISO. so I did, but then it just turns off and I restart it and nothing happened. BAH.
Layout =
MEM STICK ROOT
ISO >> Iso Files.
PSP >> GAME >> UMDEMULATOR - EBOOT.PBP // UMDEMULATOR% - EBOOT.PBP
UMDEMULATOR >> config.dat // core.bin // menu.bmp

You're the one that needs to behave. If you can't act an adult then you need to keep it to yourself.

I dont know how many times this has been asked but it is probably a hell of a lot and I am sorry but I would really rather not have to traul through 50 pages of posts to find this question:
Is there any 'safe-ish' way of running an iso on my psp with version 2.5 firmware on it
(by 'safe-ish' i mean without running the risk of bricking my psp)

I just have a question that i'm hoping someone could help me with. I have psp 1.5 FL 0.7.
My question is, I rented a game and it's asking me to upgrade to 1.52 top lay the game. any other way to do it without upgrading the firmware?
whats the difference between FL0.7 and umdemulator0.8c. How does UMDemulator work? How to use it.
How does wab changer work? How to use it.
Thanks!

wab tricks your psp into thinking its a new version psp. you play it like you would play an emulator and choose what number you want to trick it to.
umm you said that game you tryna play is 1.52, so you can definitly play that game as a back-up. what game are you tryna play.

I tried playing namco. Where can i get a wab vesion changer? And what is the newest version of it? And just wondering if its possible to dump games that requires FW 1.52 or 2.0 on my MS.

Forget Wab version changer it is useless now we have mph gameloader and genesis umd launcher. (no offence to wab) and yes you can dump any umds even ones that require higher firmware to your memory stick
