@Jalathole- If your PSP is shutting down it means that you didn't install the firmware correctly. Make sure you set "Copy Flash 1" to yes.

I dunno about breath of fire but street fighter definately doesnt work with fastloader lol,
Quote:
Street Fighter: Alpha 3 MAX USA NO UMD FiX

This is a simple NO UMD FiX by pSyPSP:

1) Extract Street_Fighter_Alpha_3_MAX_USA_PSP-ARTiSAN iSO to a folder on your PC using iSOBuster or similar utility.

2) Outside of PSP_GAME is a UMD_DATA.BIN file, delete this. Inside of PSP_GAME are ICON0.PNG, PARAM.SFO, and PIC1.PNG so move these to the root of the SFALPHA3 folder in this package.

3) In your original PSP_GAME\SYSDIR move the UPDATE folder to SFALPHA3\SYSDIR in the pack folder. Ignore or delete the BOOT.BIN and EBOOT.BIN files remaining in the original PSP_GAME\SYSDIR folder as there is already a new BOOT.BIN and PATCHED_BOOT.BIN in the pack SFALPHA3\SYSDIR.

4) In your original PSP_GAME\USRDIR delete the dummy.bin file, and move the usa folder into the new SFALPHA3\USRDIR folder from this pack.

5) Now follow the instructions as normal from the included NFO file:

Copy the 3 folders to your Memory Stick, boot RunUMD.

Press X (do not hit O to extract update).

Save doesnt work, but since this is a fighter we
dont think it will affect your enjoyment too much.
This also doesnt require a UMD in the drive.

It doesnt work with other games so dont waste your
time trying...

Enjoy!

It says on the compatibility list (found here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/loader-compatibility-list.php) that Breath of Fire 3 JP works with fastloader and so does the eu one (however there is no saving in the eu one). And even if you use the fix, there is no sound and it freezes.

But anyway here is a link to the fix:
http://www.ps2nfo.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&file=viewarticle...

And here are the instructions:
Quote:
This is a simple NO UMD FiX by Useless:

NOTE: Some have reported you can not save with this FiX, and after the first battle your game may freeze so be aware of this prior to using the FiX if this bothers you.

1) Extract Breath_of_Fire_III_WORKING_EUR_PSP-USELESS (or the original EUR iSO Image) to a folder on your PC using iSOBuster or similar utility.

2) From your original PSP_GAME folder move ICON0.PNG, PARAM.SFO, PIC1.PNG to the PSP_GAME folder from this pack.

3) Next, move the USRDIR (with all files/folders in it) from your original to the PSP_GAME folder from this pack.

4) Now follow the instructions as normal from the included NFO file:

Copy all folders contained in this release to the root of your memory stick.

Now boot using RunUMD.

NOTE: Although this is labeled a "NO UMD" release, that just means you don't need the actual BOF3 UMD in the drive to play the game, however, you will need a UMD in the drive to run it (any UMD game should work).
Hope that helped,
RoviJ

Seriously . . . is it really worth Downgrading my 2.5 PSP (or trying too) jus so I can Play old Snes games . . . (NO in my opinion)

YES, my friend plays PSP games which he loads from his memory stick,
now thats worth while but not Super Mario on PSP, that's jus WRONG!
(OK im no Nintendo fan but please . . .)

I dont like the sound of PSP's Crashing and shuting down by themselves. C'mon, there not ment to do that!

Final Fantasy Fanatic!

Rap4lyfe, so your saying you've downloaded PSP ISO games, and you want to run them on your PSP.

These are the requirments.

You need a psp with version 1.5, and you will need a 2 GB Memory Stick Duo in order to store those ISO files.

Here is a link that shows you which games are compatible with, which type of loader.
