ok thanks it works.but can't download i think when ever i try to downlaod it says slots are full or somthing wtf does that mean im new to irc lol. i use dcc maager is that anygood?
slots are full means that the bot/server you are trying to download from is full, all the avaible slots to dl from are being used. Try again later or on a less crowded channel / bot/server.
Careful using XDCC/DCC autogetters/managers as since some channels ban them in the channel. you try to connect to a bot/server that bans with a XDCC/DCC manager/autoget, you are likely to be kicked from the channel for it
Speaking of using IRC to fileshare what sort of speeds should I expect? I've dabbled with it and found that im only getting around 10kb/s on my 2mb connection. I know that it all depends upon what server your using, how busy it it as well as other things but can I expect to get much faster rates than this or is that about it?

can i leave it on that chanel like over night and when the slot is open it will atomaticly start downloading?

yes if you get in que, if it just says it's full and to try later then no. you have to be placed in the bot's que and then it will send when it can, i've waited in que for days before. and it still sent no problems.
you can also use packetnews.com, there area few others but those 2 are the main ones.

Yes you can leave yourself in the channel and keep trying, till you either get in a bot/servers que or you get into an open slot. thing is, the bot gets overwhelmed/disconnects for any reason, the transfer drops and you'll never know till you come back. Ive wasted many an hr halfway downloading stuff onlyto come back to find out my connection to the bot/server was lost and the transfer never finished. Good part is ,some bot/servers have autoresume feature that will automatically pick bck up where the transfer was interrupted.That is if the que/slots didnt fill back up again.
