i have dvd shrink, and tried recieved error 35% encoding, then i downloaded dvdfab to try and seemed to rip ok following guide using dvdfab,dvd decrypter, and dvd shrink..but when i opened dvd shrink it did have the file i created where supposably dvdfab put the movie on my hardrive..please help im new at this and i also saw in other forums that another program was mentioned but i can not find where to get it...

u will probably have to use ifo edit to get shrink to open it. i think there is a guide here at ad for using this app. the easiest way to do this flick is to dl the trial version of AnyDVD and clonedvd2 at slysoft.com or dvdfabexpress at DVDIdle.com.

thank you, i have dvdfabexpress i just got it and that it where im seeming to get ripped fine but no loc in c drive on shrink, i will try what you suggested...hopefully

anydvd runs in the back ground to break copy protection. get the free trial of clonedvd2 at the same place u got the free trial of anydvd---www.slysoft.com. clone2 is designed to work with anydvd the best. if u have dvdfabexpress u wont need shrink. dvdfabdecrypter and dvdfabexpress are two differet apps.

if u have clone2 downloaded just open the app and select clone dvd it should be the middle one. be sure to let each screen(proccess) finish before u clink next. this is a pretty easy app to use.

k, well maybe i need to give up..i tried didnt work stated videots files could not be read..i need to dl them to hard drive first..i think, ive done this several times and i dont want to do it over and over, but im not finding it...ive also tried shrink again with AnyDVD and i notice a huge blank screen in the beginning of encoding and i cxl...should i just let it go..or will that blank screen cause some problems?

do u have a fox head in ur task bar? if so try main movie only first. using clonedvd2 it will be copy dvd titles, the first selection. if this doesent work go to www.DVDIdle.com and download dvdfabexpress not dvdfabdecrypter. dvdfabexpress has a free trial too.

yup, there is a fox, and i went to DVDIdle and i downloaded the wrong program i think on accident but i didnt see fabdvd express, u r right what i have says fabdvd decrypter then it also says express in the window...i will see what i can do

no matter what i do in dvd clone it reads error--invalid block start code...one or more block might be corrupted by prior copy process blahblah...grrrrr, im geting frustrated...do you have any xperience with DVD Shrink w/ AnyDVD, or fabdvd w/anydvd that one just gets stuck and shrink shows large time span of black screen thru 2%encode

yes i do have experience using shrink with AnyDVD. thats why i recomended clone2 with main movie only or dvdfabexpress. this movie has the latest protection so it will be the hardest(not a good pick for someone just starting out) to backup.be sure to clean dvd good before trying to rip. if there are crc read errors u might have to get another copy of madagascar to try.

this is not working either...in DVD Decrypter it says pack header not found while copying vector 8...ive heard there is a prob with this...

oops fyi link givin cannot be found..and i tried the idledvd link to dl fabdvdexpress but it gave me idledvd progam, i did not see the one on that link..unless it is the same program...i am trying what you suggest so please dont get frustrated with me...i think maybe i screwed something up now CloneDVD wont work reasons above...

Let me try to help.
I just burned Madagascar successfully 3 days ago.I'm an absolute noob when it comes to burning.But its real simple if you go and read the other forums on Madagascar burning.Down load 2 programs.AnyDVD and Clonedvd2.Which you can download right here.You don't do anything with AnyDVD just let the little fox sit in your windows tray and do its thing.double clik on Clone, open it up and choose the appropriate way you want to burn the dvd and it should work.
Believe me if I can get it to work you should be able to too
