i have the latest version of AnyDVD, CloneDVD doesnt seem to work for me , i tried it twice.
I am going to try shrink right now and get back to you with the results
matrix infiniy modded ps2 (broken, burnt out PS1 fuse)
xbox(freshly softmodded with krazies)xbmc dash. Stock HDD.
www.norcalmods.com did my ps2 mod, cheap n fast:)

I had no problems with The Cave,used Dvd Shrink with AnyDvd running in the background as usual, a piece of cake!

i used the newest verision of DVDFAB free express DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.6 (12/28/2005) [it replaces voblanker and you don't have to voblank anymore, at least since i got the newest dvdfab free express] and it rips faster than early dvdffab versions and then dvdshrink = no problems with cave

Just sucessfully backed up the cave using newest version of AnyDVD running in the backround then using DVD Decrypter to rip movie only to harddrive. after that i used the newest version of DVD2One removed 0 mb cell in first chapter and burned. I had tried the AnyDVD / clone dvd combo that supposedly was sucessful on the forum . it sucessfully burned however when played skipped around speratically all over the place. this metod was 100%. in summary
1/newest AnyDVD running in bkg
2/dycrypt using DVD Decrypter (movie only)
3/newest DVD2One (movie only)option
4/remove 0mb cell under cell option (uncheck)
5/ burn & enjoy

shrink with the latest version of AnyDVD didnt work for me, (previously i had tried CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD and it didnt work either)
Right now i am ripping it with DVD Decrypter. i will get you back with my results

Hey guys I was finnaly able to decrypt the movie with DVD fab decrypter but am unable to make a full disc back up. I tried using Nero recode and DVD Shrink but i keep getting a error message that states the file size is too big for a DVD-5. Is there some type of ghost date somewhere?

ok here is the problem i used DVD Shrink not a go so i used DVD Decrypter rip it to my hd then open shrink to analise it but im not able to see the first hour of the movie some how it is all dark screen then the last 10 min of the movie shows up on shrink and thats all thats able to shrink the rest you cant see is a black screen when i try to analise it it plays fast and ends fast but only the last 10 min of the movie is viewable is that a difect or a arcos protection?

so ur looking for the free version..hehehe..u will have to find that yourself. let me be the first to say that anydvd and clone are worth every penny and then some. besides that its against ad rules to talk about patches, cracks,hacks,key gens and stuff like that.dvdfabdecrypter is free.

I backed up The Cave with Recode 2 (AnyDvd in the background). Not a problem.

if shrink says its too big shrink it to hard drive 1st then shrink that to dvd, so baically your shrinking twice, works good

The VTS files are still encrypted. Sony has stepped it up a notch. Use "FixVTS" Then it won't be too big for shrink. If you'll notice the audio size is only 7MB before and 385MB after using the program.

Use dvdfab decrypter to get the whole dvd on your hardrive protection free and then use DVD Shrink hit the re-author button carry over the main title then go to compression settings check 5.1 sound and whatever subtitle you want and presto all done in less than 4.7 gb. the only catch is you'll need about 14gb free hard drive space to do all this.

hi i'm having trouble burning the cave i've tryed DVD Decrypter,DVD Shrink,dvdfab decrypter,dvd x copy,clone dvd2 and AnyDVD is running in the background they all do something different when the fail to work and i can play the original dvd in my home dvd player and it plays fine but when i play it in the dvd player on my computer it pauses and skips and i have the disk and the dvd player on my computer. so if anyone can please help. thanks rrob42066

all i can say is there is alot of info on this page to help anyone just wanted to thank alot of the people with ideas on different programs i was wondering why my dvdfab wasnt ripping the cave or wedding crashers since i always use that an dvd decrypt but finally got the latest dvdfab worked fine with dvdshrink thanks alot. And also good looking out on other programs that are useful...........

I have got a great back up of the gospel but can only get the cave to rip but it has blocky screens when i burn it. Also why can't I get the new trial version of AnyDVD to work? it keeps saying my trial period has expired. is there anyway around this?
Once you buy it, isn't it yours? Or, do you buy a house just to let someone else tell you where to sleep! Think about it....Yeah you want!

I have finally found a solution for my problems.
after using (the latest) AnyDVD with clonedvd2, and failed....
used shrink with AnyDVD, and failed....
used DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD... failed.
i used dvdfab decrypter, then burnt with DVD Shrink and it worked great. so if anyone has similar problems i would try dvdfab decrypter.

how do i get the trial version of AnyDVD 5.7.3.1 to run on my computer? I have had a patched version of AnyDVD 5.4.1.1 befor the new locks were out. Now that I have upgraded to the new version and uninstalled the previous ( as well as did a search for remaining AnyDVD files), I get the same message after installing the download; your trial period has expired. What do I do? Oh yeah guys the dvdfab express (alone) is the quickest way to backup the cave. I did it. I just want my AnyDVD back just incase.
Once you buy it, isn't it yours? Or, do you buy a house just to let someone else tell you where to sleep! Think about it....Yeah you want!

u could try running reg edit. delete all files by slysoft, if that doesent work u may have to reformat. or u could buy it like the rest of us.

can someone help me out with a little issue. i just got done ripping and burning the cave by using any dvdand clone dvd 2. it did it jsut fine , but how do i ge tht emenus on the disc. that is the only question i have thanks
