hi i have a question about alcohol 120. After my ps2 game is in the drive i open up image making wizard. Then i go to click the data type as playstation 2 .

but their is one problem there is no place for me to select data type

There is no datatype setting for DVD's, just CD's. Don't worry about it. Check ignore read errors. At least I do when creating an image from a badly scratched rental. I use DVD Decrypter primarily when ripping a game to my HD, but Alcohol 120% is my backup. It'll make an image from pretty much anything.

Im trying to make a copy of Call of Duty 2. I used Alcholer to create a data type profile based on the copy protection detected by ClonyXXL.

As you say I cannot choose the datatype for a DVD game. So what is the best way to copy the game? I get error messages when I try to use Alchol 120%.

DVD Decrypter doesnt get past game copy protection does it?
