Playing a bit of everything to be honest. Star Ocean 3, finished KHII (great game btw, not very challenging though, even on Proud Mode) Tales of Legendia, Dragon Quest VIII, Magna Carta, Nocturne etc... List goes on a little. Sometimes im not in the mood to play a certain game, so i play another one. I wouldnt recommend this though, since things get prety disjointed when you're playing 6 or 7 games at a time.

Hey Guys!!!
I'm retired of PS2 games right now. I'm so tired of playing RPG games. They are just same shit over and over again. NOthing news. NO strategy.
Well my last RPG game will be FF XII.

if final fantasy 7 advent children was a live action movie who do you think should be the actors to play the characters?
i think johny depp would have to play vincent i dunno why its just sumthing about vincents and johnys eyes there a lot a like.

Final Fantasy XIII. Why don't we start opinions on that? I personally think it looks awesome, a new more action-based Final Fantasy. I guess thats the only way they could go after the FFXII battle system. It was only a teaser trailer though, so there isnt much to comment on. Graphics are nice i guess. Looks promising.

Ya i agree ff XIII looks crazy, im not sure about the story or gameplay aspects yet, looks like a total departure from what I have come to know and love. Hopefully it stays true to its roots.

I understand that vgaddict8, but there are just some games that u gotta play, for me Final Fantasy and Zelda. I play my ps2 bout 2-3 hours a week. I grew up with final fantasy 2 and 3, they got me hooked like crack.

svtstang, once you get older... you will understand that videogames make life bareable not fun. There is just nothing good right now. The ps2 and xbox is on it's last breath. AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i c whereur comin from...im 20 and videogames dont have the same appeal to me like when i was a kid. Still fun as hell to play though, especially after a long night of drinking haha.
And I do agree, there isnt much left to look forward to for the good old ps2, except a couple Final Fantasy games....

I've been a big FF fan since FF2 on the SNES (Final Fantasy 4 Japan). FF6 has got to be their biggest achievement, FF7 just looked nicer. I know a few ppl who get misty eyed when they talk about the sequence where Celes throws herself from the side of the mountain on Solitary Island. Then she wakes up on the beach and the seagull is nursing her to health. Her life sucks and Kefka just blew the whole f**king place apart. But then she sees Locke's bandana and has hope. That's a story right there!

I have not touched PS2 for past 6 months. I just have a question. Does any great RPG games come out lately? If so, please list here.
One more question. Is that easy to replace DVD drive or the Laser on PS2? Any tut? Where to buy DVD drive and Laser? My laser is weak now. Sometime it has problems to read short movies in the games.

you can check out ps2parts.com, you'll have to ship ur playstation to them though. its a great website, when my ps2 messed up thats where i sent mine to get worked on because i couldn't find anyone local to do it. you'll have to send them $49.99, thats $39.99 to fix ur playstation and $10 to return by mail. thats a great price, i wouldn't reccommend fixing it my-self, because believe me i tried. but honestly you can't go wrong with these guys.

$49.99? is it expensive to replace the laser?
Well I think I can replace the whole dvd drive by myself. I try to save money by replacing the laser.
With $49.99 can I can buy the Pre-owned PS2.

Final Fantasy XII is a top game none the less. Yes RPG's are tiring and it's the same over and over again but final fantasy's are worth the effort.

Master the returner, I played the japan version already and it's really stupid......the game is definitely going to flop big time. It's just click....move...wait...and the character will automatically attack....What a joke!!!!!!

Final Fantasy XII flop? Hahahaha... good one. Seriously though, it was rated 40/40 in the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, and apparently only 6 or 7 games have ever recieved that honor. Course you'll get tired of battling, it happens eventually. Its like a signal to finish the game, and move onto other things (or games) lol.
Theres been a patch released for the JAP version of FFXII which'll let it work on HDAdvance. Hope they make one for the U.S. version, or I'll need to mod my PS2... But before that we have Dirge Of Cerberus, Xenosaga III, Rogue Galaxy, Disgaea 2, Valkrie Profile : Silmeria and more to look forward to!
