Are you talking about songs downloaded from iTunes or ones you ripped from cd?

I don't think you can burn songs downloaded from iTunes on to cd as the files are DRM'd.

You can actually burn the songs downloaded from iTunes music store to an audio disc. Which as far as I'm concerned defeats the purpose of DRM but don't say that to loud. And I don't know of a way to burn songs directly from your iPod to disc. But it's fairly simple using iTunes. Create a playlist of the songs you want to put on a CD, insert a blank disc into your CD writer, and click the circle-ish thing in the top right corner of the screen a few times. [First click I believe checks the media, and second click will start the burn, no worries about clicking it a few times though]

Please try to restrain from being rude and TYPING IN CAPITALS

are you sure it works with drm'd songs. as putting DRM on songs is kind of useless if someone can make an audio cd out of iTunes.

I do it all the time, the first thing I do after downloading something from iTunes [which is rare - apparently iTunes gift cards are popular though :\] is burn it to a CD so if my computer takes a dive I'll still have my music. I havn't tried with the most recent version of iTunes yet, but it may still work.

They're downloaded audio files from the iTunes Music Store. Under 'Kind' of the Summary tab it says Protected AAC audio file. And it burns to an audio CD without any problems. I've put the files from that audio CD onto a computer and the DRM isn't there anymore. Does that answer your question?

you could always use a program like jhymn which will surpass/remove the DRM on the audio files..
