I have successfully converted one of my home DVD's using DVD decrypter as per the instructions in another thread. I can then run the file through Videora and convert to one MP4 file and load to my ipod. The problem is that the MP4 file is one large file of the whole movie, no titles etc. and i cannot forward from onbe chapter to the next. My only option to progress through the movie is to fast forward which takes ages. Is there anything i can do so that the chpater forward button works?
No, unfortunately, the iPod doesn't support chapters. Your only options are to either continue fast-forwarding, or to rip the DVD chapter-by-chapter.. but my guess is the latter suggesion will be just as time-consuming (if not more time-consuming) than fast-forwarding. So you are probably better off continuing with that.
Can anyone suggest the best software to purchase for ripping down and converting to MP4 (Ipod)? i have heard of imtoo and PQdvd but don't know which is best, and if there are any others which are better?
I have pretty much tried all of them, and I recommend PQDVD, without a doubt. But some prefer CuCuSoft/imTOO, so I suggest you try all of them before you purchase :-)
Can someone PLEASE send me the instructions to do the Ipod Video Conversion with the DVD Decrypter and Videora??? I had it saved, and now the main page is gone, so I can't figure out how to do it!!
