I recomend PQ DVD, it is fast and reliable. The only con is that it is 37$

Not for me, but some have experienced it, but the same goes for any other converter.

If you'd like to convert DVD and various video files to iPod, I recommend cucusoft. It supports converting DVD, AVI, MPEG, WMV, MOV, RM, ASF, etc. to iPod video formats with fast speed. Check the guides at http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/253137
If you not only want to convert video files to iPod, but also convert between many video formats, such as AVI, MPEG, WMV, MOV, etc. I recommend Xilisoft Video Converter. It can not rip DVD to iPod.

Before you buy an iPod converter it's important to use the trial to see if your audio is in sync or not. Otherwise they're all pretty good. I liked PQ DVD a lot but it ended up not doing the trick for me [audio wasn't in sync] but I think PQ DVD was the fastest, converting a DVD in about half the playing time of the movie. Xilisoft is a pretty good piece of software as well, but I'm currently using the DVD Decrypter/Videora setup.
[And ebay, I think we get it :)]

You should use Videora over PSP9. Reason being, they're both made by Videora Holdings, and have near identical interfaces, except Videora was created for iPod Video transcoding, whereas PSP9 was specifically made for the PSP.

Has anyone tried "Jesterware" or "Yasa" as a sort of all-in-one products to rip DVDs to their iPod and PSP? Looking for some feedback...
Cucusoft and Vidora are well spoken for but with so many different ones to choose from it's hard to commit to just one.

I've never used/heard of either of those programs. But PQ DVD is very well spoken for around here, and is very fast. Just check to make sure your audio stays in sync with the 5 minute trial before purchasing. I am however unsure if the videos play on the PSP or how they would look.

i use riversofts crazi video for ipod as it has crazy compression while keeping the quality up my 250+ mb .ogm animes get down to around 75 mb with no noticeable quality loss cucusoft made the audio screechy which wasnt cool. however i dont believe it has dvd support so id use cucusoft for that.

I dunno if anyone's heard of this, Total Video Converter... it rips dvd, it converts from everything to evrything (flash videos, gifs, mpegs, avis, mp4's movs, qt's, asf, swf's) so I use it.
Plus, it has a great speed!
