hey my 60 gb video ipod was stolen in school yesterday. im going back to the office today to talk with the officer. is there something like if the person plugs it in and tries to register it that apple can notify me or any thing else i could do or am i pretty much screwed?
I doubt the person who stole your iPod will register it, and evem if they do, Apple will have to be notified and you will have to quote your serial number to them in order for there to be any hope. Sorry buddy, but chances are slim.
Contact Apple and see if they can assist you in any way.
alright thanks. i will try to contact apple and see what they say. yeh i bet if someone is dumb enough to stel a 400 dollar item (though successful) they are too dumb to register, but i thought i would try anyways. yeh they didnt even take my headphones, though they werent visible. but im just hoping that i may catch a break, that would be a blessing. well thanks for your help.
hey lethal i know this sounds noobish but i figured i would ask it sometime. on your sig that says proud to be British, did you make that with photoshop or did you get it from somewhere. the reason i ask is everyones i have seen have the same text and same dimensions. thanks
I get my userbars from http://www.userbars.co.uk/ - which is a site run by one of the afterdawn's members, lavarock. If you want him to make you a custom user bar, (like my one that says 'Lethal'), I'm sure he won't mind. Just pop him a PM.
As for the animation, I got a couple of userbars that I liked & made the .gif using Macromedia Fireworks. If you have a few userbars you want in sequence, like mine, then just PM me with the links to the pics and i'll gladly do it for you :-)
