there's got to be a cheat for this somehow, this one guy who was on the red team tonight was invincible, i head shot him at least 10 times with the sniper rifle and he didn't even loose life, grabbed a flame thrower and it wouldn't even touch him standing right behind him and the flames completely engulfing him...........what gives here?

also anyone with information on who/how to host and create your own game???

A strange thing that happened to me:

I have a PAL PS2. I 've used ID CONVERTER from Paradox to change my ID to a US PS2, in order to play US games such as Hot Shots Golf Fore!

This way worked.

Now I was trying METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SUBSISTANCE (the new online version).
The Dnas i used was the same of Metal Gear Solid 3 as I read in a post. And in this way i can access to the ONLINE page.
Untill here it is ok.

Then i try to connect but I get an error.

-ERROR 864-

I tried to re-create the Network Connection but i got the same error.
This game is US version (like Hot Shots).

Why doesn't it work?
Thanks for help!

i've used the MGS3 (not Subsistance) dnas, since i've read that it working.

Now I burned another dvd with the DNAS i've found here.
It works! Thanks.

The game, sadly, is quite bad online.
Do you agree?

-864
-Invalid DNAS Disc ID.
-Media Error.

you patched the wrong DNAS code, use the one posted previously in this thread. the media error is if you have a game on DVD that is supposed to be on CD but this should not be the case with this game so it's the DNAS.

as far as online play, it's not laggy at all and is quite enjoyable play i think.

yet once again to help with your pure lack of reading and understanding what you've read. you do need to imporve on reading the .nfo and description of the torrents your downing, as well as reading this thread.........

they are all individual disks, this is not a continued on the next disk kind of game.

Disk 1 is a camera angel improved Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Disk 2 is online play and the MSX versions of the first two Metal Gears

Disk 3 (not included in the ECHELON release) is Existence, a 3 1/2 hour movie of the cut scenes from MGS3 and includes a MGS4 trailer.

other then the MANY people who are cheating by enabling 1 shot kills, full time stealth (even stealth when not playing as snake) and invincibility, it's one of the best online games I've played.

so if anyone knows a way to enable the cheating features, please let the rest of us know, it's a might ridiculous to head shoot someone 10 times and it not take any life away at all and i die from a scorpion shot to the little toe.

I've used the 'spectator' function to follow around some of the people i suspected of having a cheat enabled and they defiantly do, followed one guy the full 15 min of a free for all shot it out and not once did he die or loose health and was shot/grenaded/RPG/etc.... hundreds of times.

Burnt Disc 1 @ 4x on a Taiyo Yuden, but it doesn't work with my swap magic (I keep getting the black screen of death). Do I need to rebuild, or do I need to reburn? Is there a patch out there to get this work with swap magic???

Same thing happened to me... Still not sure whether or not I should rebuild... I just don't want to waist any more DVDs until I (hopefully) get some answers on this thread...

disks at 30 cent each, live a little :) rebuild it and then post for everyone else if it works. myself I'd recommend a chip and to hell with swapping but that is just my opinion.

also investing in a quality DVD-RW isn't a bad idea, i use one myself so when new online games come out i can patch a DNAS to it and try to find a working one before an original one is released, it usually takes a few days for an original to show up and i can usually make my own after several tries.
