hello

you can either

1)burn the bin image with decrypter

you cannot convert a bin image to iso,however....->

2)you can convert the files so they can be burnt onto a dvd disk

i am new to this site,so not sure there is a guide posted here ,but it seems to have everything else,so just search for it

hope this helps

Burn the .bin file to blank media using DVD Decrypter.

Is it a dvd-rip?

What's the size of the bin file after you unzip/rar it?

hello

if thats a yes to a dvd-rip,then i suggest you burn it to a dvd disk

i couldnt find a guide here,so heres a quick run down,on what you need to do

you must extract all the files first using isobuster or ultraiso or winrar, then proceeding by opening scanlite and scan them with the restore tab ticked, then re-scan them again with the dvd tab ticked.
then you need to re-compile the image either using cd/dvd gen (if you choose to use cd/dvd gen,you must place the files in cd/dvd in exactly the same order when you first initially opened the bin image) or nero burning rom (much easier to use)
you will need to use scanlite made by sonix to scan the sles/slus and the IOPRP250.IMG file (both times remember)

you can download scanlite using this link

hopes this helps

Well if it's a DVD to CD rip, the easiest solution would be to just download the DVD-ROM version.

hello,

maybe he has a slow connection?,
yes,i agree,it would be easier to initially get the full version, but converting them back, albeit cut scenes will be missing ,takes a matter of minutes.

Okay there's no need for sarcasm. Obviously that's assuming he's got broadband. Most times in my experience, people who download DVD to CD rips of games are new to downloading and PS2 backups. Most people who download games on a regular basis know which games are DVD-ROM and will recognize right away any inconsistency in a game's size.

hello

i wasnt being sarcastic,a lot of people like downloading dvd-rips,including myself.
all i can go on its whats being posted, and i dont see the point of downloading a file that could be 3,4 gb's or so,when he has the image right there.
ps2's find cd disk's much harder to read, whereas dvd's are not.

Well especially if you're using a disc swapping method to boot backups. Modded PS2's with quality chips like the DMS 4 Pro SE, Crystal Chip 1.1, and Matrix Infinity don't really have issues with CD Media. Memosux CD-R's boot fine on v.4 with an MI and my v.9 with a DMS 4 Pro SE. But yeah if you don't have high speed or aren't set up well with BitTorrent and private trackers, it can take forever to download a game, so I see your point.
