however with certain isos sometime the region of the game is important.

i've read on the forum bout Fifa street n Untold legend being able to be played usin the Genesis RunUmd,i didnt do much research on that so i was wondering does tat only get the game workin on a 1.5 psp if there is the ORIGINAL UMD DISK inserted, or can it run on ISO's too? cos i see them talk bout that particular "x" folder

Cheers lads for the help, but im a bit confused...didnt go to school much. :) Im just a bit peed of i spent all day yesterday getting this file.
This what i get:

Then when i extract the folder above i get...

bombay thats cause you actually went inside the iso itself.. after you extracted the iso from the 47 files you could have dragged and dropped the .iso one on your computer, but when you clicked it, now you went into the make up of the iso image which is the psp_game folder and the umd.data
so take all those files and extract the iso from it and then drag and drop that iso file on to your pc and then you will have extracted the iso.

use the prnt scrn button which is next to scroll lock at the top of your keyboard and then open up an image editing program and just paste from clipboard.

you need to
1. install it in your game folder like its an emulator.
2. create a folder called enc and place it in your root folder
3. place the files you want to decrypt in the enc folder in your root.
4. fire up the decryptor and when it decrypts it will create a new folder called dec in your root and your decrpyted files will be in the dec folder and you can do what you need with them..

No thats only for aeneas decrypter, for Decrypt PRX you place the encrypted files in a folder called crypted in the root of your memory stick, and after you run DecryptPRX it will overwrite the encrypted PRX files in the crypted folder with the decrypted versions.

Weel after the long prcess of option one, i have decrypted the crap, dashed folders on the stick and rebuilded the iso...When i chage the settings and then go to the Loader..it takes an awfuly long time to start up...is it meant ot take that ong..all it says is please wait startign game../yet all i see is a black screen...
Hopefully this is the last time im aksing for help...

Did you obtain the firmware version 2.00 in files format and put it in mphgameloader\f0 and mphgameloader\f1 folders? Because if you don't the game loader won't work and it will say loading but nothing will happen.
Reaper74- You are referring to the RunUMD fix. This is another method to get 2.00+ ISOs working on a 1.5 PSP, but you need to download a different fix for each game. Check my original post, I have edited it to include this method as well as the Generic RunUMD Patch method

my bad bombay i misread your post and gave u directions for the wrong decryptor.
i too had downloaded mph's decryptor and couldnt get that one to work. i didnt get that or aena decrypter to work at all. so don't feel bad or noobie cause its happened to the best of us. for some reason only eternalis and piece can get it to work.
eternalis do you have a jap psp?

I have the Asian type PSP, which I bought on holiday in Malaysia. Probably similair to the Jap PSP.

interesting, cause piece has a jap piece, and u two decrypt w/o any problems, where as i have an american.. this possibly could be something.

Im having the exact problems as bombayboy and wonder what do I do with the extracted 2.00 update files. Where do I put them exactly? So far everthing else is ok since I downloaded everything like you told me to and followed all your steps. I just hope to get Tokobots working.

bombay boy- look at the other thread you made, I posted instructions on how to get the firmware in files format. Sorry about the links, it turns out you have to go to: http://psp4me.dnsdojo.net/ . Then click on Applications, then scroll down to find PBP Unpacker and the other programmes. (as the site doesn't let you directly link to the files)

eternalis, I think I got everything down now and hopefully Tokobot will work(if it does,thanks to you) and by the way that link does not work just to let you know. The link on the forum you referred me to, but I still found what I needed.
P.S some games like X men, when decrypt the .PRX files, not all of them get decrypted theres always one that cant be decrypted and says something like "ffffff" cannot be decrypted on the psp screen so I have no idea what to do.

I did that whole process of formatting the files but the extracted files have nothing in them,its just full of empty folders, what am I doing wrong? Thanks agian for your help!
