Yes, unless u download a fixed copy, you do need to replace/decrypt the PRX files for every new game.

This all looks like a bit of a mess; but if it ill run the new games, I'll be giving it a shot tonight; because I am absolutely not updating my PSP system. But the new titles are wonderful. When I first bought Burnout Legends I sat on it for a good few weeks before I figured out how to play it without the updates. I love my homebrew, and it's more important to me than the few good newer titles; this way I get both.

P.S Thanks eternalis for the 2.00 file format.

Why did you post the same thing twice? P.S You know that this is for ISOs not games right?

@Ultimapsp- Does the WinRAR Archive contain a PSP_GAME folder and UMD_DATA.BIN file? If so just extract the archive on to your hard drive, create a new ISO using UMDGen and drag and drop the files you extracted and save it. If you have many WinRAR archives (e.g .001,.002 etc), just extract the first one.

But when I rebuild the .ISO from the extracted files(file folder) it just becomes another WinRAR Archive.

I used a fix from PS2NFO.com and got Megaman Powered Up to work but when I choose to continue a game, the game itself doesn't detect a save file, is there any way to fix this?

back yourr savadata http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/109 and reformat and try again, if it doesnt work, you need a new iso.

ultima psp, it becoming a WinRAR archive is 100% normal. is the file extension still .iso? that's what matters. the fact of the matter is that by defualt WinRAR associates its self with .iso extensions so all your isos should still look like WinRAR archives.

Yes I used the UMDgen program to rebuild my .ISO's also when I look at its properties its still tells me its a WinRAR Archive.

That's normal. WinRAR associates itself with the .iso extension like i said before. Try to play the game it should run.

Hey I got my game Tokobot to finally work. But I have a few questions to ask.
1. Is it ok if I run my game through fastloader instead of MPH gameloader? But still following Eternalis guide 1 except I will run it with fastloader.

2. If I want to put a new game, do I have to repeat all the steps to get it working or can I just keep the old ones from tokobot? The .PRX files and etc..? Will the guide work for japanese games too?

3. I was also wondering why my game would not run with MPH gameloader? But it runs with fastloader?

4. I downloaded this one file that went along with the runumdmod, the name was x and when I tried opening it. It said I needed a password, does anyone know what it is?

P.S
Thanks for your help, everyone.

1. No you can't use fastloader as it doesn't have a system menu mode (so you can't use MPH Game Loader with it, so you can't run the new ISOs).

2. I presume that you can use the decrypted PRX files from Tokobot (provided they are the same ones that are used in the new ISO you want to play), but you have to decrypt the eboot.bin each time.

3. Did you get Tokobot to run with fast loader? I didn't think that was possible.

4. Oops, didn't realise it had password encryption, not sure about the password. So to obtain an X folder, for now just insert any new game (as in UMD), start RunUMD and press O. An X folder will be created on the root of your memory stick.

If I try to run my .ISO with mphgameloader, I just that that screen where it says "game loading...". But it doesn't do anything. I have the 2.00 file updates on the root of my memory stick and the iso but why wont it play ? So with every new game I have repeat all the steps over agian? Including the eboot.bin and the .prx files ? Certain games like X-men: rise of the apocolypse, all the prx files will not decrypt so ill be missing a prx file and dont know what to do.

My PSP History:

Do you have a UMD inserted? The 2.00 file updates shouldn't be in the root of your memory stick, they should be in the mphgameloader folder.

You will have to decrypt the EBOOT.BIN for each game, but you can use the decrypted PRX files from tokobots in another game (method 2).

There dusnt seem to be any .prx files int here anyway, could that be the problem?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Right i dont know y it aint putting down my little diagram properly, the line cumming from 'PSP_GAME' SHOULD STOP AT USRDIR
a line should then go from USRDIR to DATA
Then all the files and folders after that come from inside the data folder
Hope tht explains things
I dont know y its not doing it right

aena decryptor
you create a folder called enc and dec in your root, you put the app in your psp>game folder and you put the prxs in the enc folder
you run it off your ms, and its supposed to put the decrypted prxs in the dec folder in your root.

just a small question

this whole get this and extract to root ..get that and extract to game..and so on...is too much confusing...

if some one can upload the whole root directory containing MPH+umd emu+dax+runumd....etc
i mean a complete set.........would not it be easier so that people will only copy paste...or am i missing something...??

i know i had to read a lot to get mine.....but why did not some one just upload the whole files with all the bin,core....etc....

i dont mind doing it.......buti want to make sure its the same thing for every one?

@pasaoglu-Sorry, but my upload speed is very slow, and I didn't think that the instructions were that confusing, were they?

@iking- Do you have the ENC and DEC folders set up correctly? If you do, just forget about Aeneas decrypter and use MPH DecryptPRX (I found this program to be more reliable). But remember for DecryptPRX you have to put the encrypted files in a folder called crypted in the root of your memory stick. After you run the program, the encrypted files will be overwritten by the decrypted files.

For Major League Baseball

you know what might save some time? Sniper gave me a ditto copy of his psp, ill upload that on mega upload, so all the people have to do to get MLB is get the prx files(ill upload them too) and then copy the ditto of the psp, and place the iso in the folder...That should save soem time of people asking what goes where...

The ditto copy conatins-
The dax programmes
The "x" Folder (2.6 Firmware in there)
MPH Loader
UMD Loader
And other things you may need....

All you have to do is copy everything to your psp. :)

PSP Ditto Copy -http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Z1CITLPI

PRX Files for MLB - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CWWY998Z

From there in the Root of your memory Stick create a folder named "ISO" and place the rebuilt iso (after you hyave replaced the prx files above and re-built the iso using UMD Gen). When you are on your psp, go to Dax Iso loader and load it using UMD Loader.

Arsenal! =D
