To make an ISO just combine the files into one, by typing copy /b "lfc-vfrh.001"+"lfc-vfrh.002" etc. in the DOS command prompt.

Which Viewtiful Joe are you trying to run?

According to the compatibility list (found here:http://forums.psphacks.net/index.php/topic,13530.0.html), you do the following:
Quote:
Replaced the prx files with the prx files from Star Wars BF2
Deleted the PSP_GAME\STSDIR\UPDATE folder
Set Padding None in UMDGen 2.0
Rebuilt ISO

Works fine with the mphgamelauncher v1.1
Hope that helps,

i'll try that. you know the game i megaman i said that is already working? its not. i thought it was but it freezes in hte loading screen.

Quote:
You need to replace the PRX's with the ones from DBZ). I will upload the PRXs from DBZ and give u a link soon. EDIT: Heres the link: http://rapidshare.de/files/18872185/dbz_prx.rar.html .All you have to do is decrypt the EBOOT.BIN using DecryptPRX (place the eboot.bin in a folder called crypted on the root of your memory stick and run MPH DecryptPRX; which you can download from:http://mphwebsite.tuxfamily.org/index.php?downprg=1&program=18). The program will over write the crypted eboot.bin with the decrypted one. Rename this to boot.bin .Open up the ISO using UMDGen and replace the PRXs in the PSP_GAME\USRDIR\MODULES\ folder with the ones from the archive I gave you and also replace the boot.bin in PSP_GAME\SYSDIR\ with the one you decrypted earlier. Then save the ISO and put it on the ISO folder in the root of your memory stick. For Megaman Powered Up, I found that the UMD Emulator RunUMD edit worked (find it here:http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/427). Use this X folder in the root of your memory stick:http://rapidshare.de/files/17028377/x.rar.html (the password is www.projectpsp.com).

Start up UMD Emulator and select Load RunUMD mode, start it. And it'll work!

Is this the step-by-step i should follow? im not so sure how to do this step:

All you have to do is decrypt the EBOOT.BIN using DecryptPRX (place the eboot.bin in a folder called crypted on the root of your memory stick and run MPH DecryptPRX

Does the crypted folder supposed to be in the root of my MS? sorry if im askin to much. thanks.

Yes it should be in the root of your memory stick. Did you decrypt the EBOOT.BIN before?

You might have a bad ISO.

Age is not a limitation.

Try following the step-by-step info I wrote in the first post. And tell me which step you don't know how to do.

Yes use DecryptPRX. I have now found that DecryptPRX is better (some PRX files don't decrypt in Aeneas Decrypter).

Can anyone tell me how to get the Championship Manager ISO to work, it says on psp-hacks that it runs on umd emulator v0.8c, but it just crashes. I've also tried the way that gta uses (umd emulator then mph loader) but that doesn't work either. I've got all my other games working and this one is really bugging me. Cheers.

Did you download it or dump it? If you downloaded it, it is most likely that you have got a bad ISO. Also do you have the latest version of UMD Emulator (0.8c)?

eternalis it's me again. i cant get past step 5 on method 1.

Run Anea?s Decrypter and decrypt the PRX files and the eboot.bin

I'm using decryptprx instead of aenas. but it gets stuck on the loading screen on decryptprx saying:
-Decrypt the ms0:/crypted/folder, please wait...
Use home for exit....

What should i do here or what have i done wrong?

Are you sure you have everything in the correct place? What are the names of the PRXs you are trying to decrypt?

Everyone read the article before posting...

After running a game with UMDEMULATOR you go into the SYSTEM MENU and you DONT RUN THE UMD. You then run MPH 2.00 Game Loader v1.1 and the game will start. DO NOT use v1.0 as it is a beta that exits after 6 minutes of play.

I was told to change my sig so I did this.

No, for Xmen Legends 2 you do not use MPH Game Loader. According to the official compatibility list (found here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/loader-compatibility-list.php ), you use the runUMD mod, thats method 4.

Follow these instructions:
Quote:
1.Obtain RunUMD (modified version), and ISO patcher from here: http://rapidshare.de/files/16887100/Generic_RunUMD_Hack_and_BOOT.... Also download this file: http://rapidshare.de/files/17028377/x.rar.html .EDIT: The password to the archive is www.projectpsp.com. Extract the files from this archive into a folder called X on the root of your memory stick.
2.Extract the contents of the .zip file, to your hard drive.
3.From your harddrive copy the two folders named runumdmod and runumdmod% to your PSP\GAME folder in your memory stick.
4.Obtain umdgen from http://www.umdgen.com. Run UMDGen and extract your ISO onto your memory stick. Delete the file called UMD_DATA.BIN. Your memory stick should have the following folders on it: X, PSP and PSP_GAME (from your ISO).Use the executable file included to patch the boot.bin and eboot.bin file in the PSP_GAME\SYSDIR folder on your memory stick.
5.Insert a UMD and start up the runumd mod on your memory stick, press X
7. Your game should start!
Hope this helped,

What do I for X-men legends 2:rise of the Apocolypse...All the .prx files will not decrypt so do I use the .prx files from another game? Also, for another game I think need that hybrid 2.5 file format, where do I find it?

My PSP History:
1.00 >1.5>2.00>1.5>3.03 OE-C>BRICKED>Pandora battery ^_^>1.5>3.03 OE-C>3.52 M33-2>3.71 M33-4

You can find the hybrid firmware here: http://eternal-psp.vze.com/dl.htm

According to the compatbility list (http://www.psp-hacks.com/loader-compatibility-list.php ), Xmen legends 2 works with fastloader.
