Any backed this one up yet?
When you select dtv480p ,how come the screen is only 4:3 size?
when i select ntsc or pal,both are fullscreen,as normal...
is it possible to play in progressive scan and full screen,other games work perfectly this way.

maybe the people who made the game expect that if you have pro scan, you have a wide screen tv......

hopefully if you are using Progressive scan you went out and replaced the stock PS2 cables with component cables. If not your wasting your time trying to get a better quality picture.

yeah well you run pro scan its great quilty but the cable is s fortune and not really worth it yet just play at 50 or 60

i have a widescreen lcd tv and all other prog scan games work perfectly fullscreen,this is the only game that use 4:3 size for it,and i have the official ps2 component cables...
did anyone with a prog scan widescreen tv try this mode for this game?

I tried patching this to play it on an NSTC ps2, but it didn't work. Could I have done something wrong?

My DLP TV doesn't have it or i would give it a try. The resolution is high enough that i doubt it needs Progressive scan. It has a similar feature called film mode and i will have to try it once i get that game. But with the LCD TV and the component cables your picture should be about as good as it is going to get anyway.

Memnock you don't need to patch it... it already has the option to choose PAL or NTSC and dtv480p aswell....
umm, did any of you guys rebulid this game?
i opened it with iso buster, extracted the files then got thoes files on Nero n burnt it and 4x but its not working... and i did it at 8x and it work's but i need something on top of the cd to slow it down to work...
the image size when burnt was 3.9GB on Nero, the acutly file is 3.74GB, 4.16 when writin as it says on DVD Decrypter (havent done this methode yet using dvd Decrypter)
what shall i do? i use swap magic 3.6 with ps2 slimline fliptop...
oh and DTV480p? what is it.. i selected it and my screen kinda disconnected from the ps2...got a 19inch lcd HD ready tv and using scart for ps2 and hd for xbox360... what do i have to do?

Mine works fine. If you want to use NTSC or the Progressive Scan you dont patch that game. If you apply the PAL to NTSC patch with the y-fix it will screw up the NTSC. You don't need to rebuild the file. Try burning with quality media at half the rated speed of the DVD+-R and you should be fine. I burned on a Sony 16x DVD+R at 8x and it works like a charm with Swap Magic 3.6 and a slimline ps2.

Hitman blood money can be played in NTSC or PAL... Also for me the backup was good and works flawlessly, the only problem is it is working my laser like mad, all you here is the laser reading just like GTA San Andreas. Don't think its good for my ps2 :) Does that happen to you also?

Maybe it does or maybe it doesn't work the laser. But since the ps2 is only $129, it's not that bad to play it until the laser dies. Runs smoothly on my slimline ps2 though. My son and I have been putting that thing to use about 6 hours a day for a year and still no problems.

I downloaded the MRN version and didnt work with swap magic 3.3, says it isnt a valid ps2 disc? what to do? rebuild or what?

Hi people - having some problems burning Hitman blood money onto disc - successfully extracted the files to my hardrive using DVD Decrypter but when i go to "write" to iso it wont work? Any ideas how to overcome these problems? Tried to burn it with Nero aswell but no joy.

PAL version still doesnt work. I rebeuilded it with DVDGen and IML2ISO, burned it at 2x with dvddecrypter and still get the error "Not a valid ps2 disc". Please help, cause this game rocks!

Dont know really, its just a blanc disc, but ive burned about 10 other games on them en they all worked fine.

the only problems i'm having with my backup of hitman: blood money is that when the videos play, it runs slow, so i did what i normally do and use dvdloader, which fixed that problem, but brought up another.
now the videos run smoothly, but they just quit, as if i hit X to skip the cutscene.
i'm not sure if there's a new version of dvd loader out there, i've searched around, and all links i've found are no longer there.
just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
thanks in advance for any help anyone provides.
