If they all work with .41a and not .41d, stop using .41d. The only reason .41d if the iso's are wrking in .41a is because devhook wasnt installed properly.

Does anyone know what would happen if you use devhook to get to 2.5 and then upgrade to 2.7

Hi there ppl. I tried everything to get my fifa game working, but still no luck. I did the settings on this forum. the screen goes black then back to the psp home menu. Do i need to use a game umd. because i have a movie umd in there, dont know if that matters.

Thanks for that, I know i need a umd in there, But does it matter if its a game or a movie and how new is the game (e.g. Version 2.x games)

No it doesnt matter, just use the demo UMD that came with your psp if you still have it. If not, any UMD will work fine.

all these steps i used the setting given at the biegging of this forum.
1. i tried it normal with the movie umd - didnt work
2. tried it with the patch and with a movie umd in drive - didnt work
3. swapped the prx's and with a movie umd in drive - didnt work.
Anything else i need to try.

How did you swap the prxs? Using UMD Gen? Do iso's work with other loaders?

No the fifa iso and the street soccer iso dont work on other loaders. But my other games work just fine with fastloader.
and yes i used UMD Gen to swap prx.

I wasnt asking about other games on devhook, talking bout dax, fastloader, umd emu all that stuff. Since they work on fastloader,its not the UMD movie obviusly. You r not patching the game correctly, or devhook is not installed properly.

Ok u must know more that me. Ok i got devhook from http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/548. and the Street Riders patch using Umd Gen witch gave me a iso size of 1,240,334KB.
Is this right?

That link is not working. Use this devhook package, its the one i use and gives me no problems.

Delete all the devhook stuff on your stick and then install this.

Great i got something different now. it says i have version 2.5 PSP but still cant run the game. It says the game should start after the psp reboots, but it didnt.

Wait ,wait......waht version firmware do you have? You just said 2.5, are you talking about when devhook emualtes or your psp is an actual 2.5?
Also, what are your devhook setings? In order, they should be
ISO ANYUMD
2.XX->2.00
2.50
333/166 or 222/111

No my psp is 1.5 after hook is 2.5, is that right? and yes i'm using these settings.

No, cant send you the iso, that would mean getting banned. If you have the prx's i posted and the iso, its as simple as can be. Are you swapping prx's correctly?

I don't get it stang, you say swap PRX files w/ UMDGen b/c it's the only way to get the game to work right. I have NEVER used UMDGen to swap PRX files. I just drag and drop what I need and the games work great! I have hacked ALL of my games like this...
